Jacob Rees Mogg just being Jacob Rees Mogg today, claiming that fish are happier for being British. A complete twat in a suit that man, couldn't be more out of touch with the British public if he tried. As someone said of him recently, he’s a cheap xenophobe in an expensive suit. He’s also a stupid person’s idea of what an intelligent person sounds like: a vacuous non-entity with a plummy voice.

Pretty much. I think Starmer wanted to draw a line under it and move on, but then he's been pretty weak and compliant to everything the Tories have done since becoming Labour leader. Personally I'd much prefer Labour to abstain from all things Brexit, accept that their support is divided on the issue and let the Tories own it. But I suppose that was more or less Corbyn's stance in the last election and it didn't work. Must admit Labours stance is a bit bemusing you would think that just for the fact of being in opposition that they would vote against the Government on principal, its not as if it would make any difference with the majority the Government has. Starmer is a 'Red Tory' fighting the last war,in order to placate the 'Red Wall'. He should grew a pair oppose this Tory Brexit and argue for single market and customs union membership A sociaList and internationalist party is needed.

Irony starting to hit home Stories from Wales and Scotland of exporters of fish , unable to export to EU, and of exports of their produce rotting on the docks , because of 30 hour delays and a mass of form filing and paperwork Fishing communities voted overwhelmingly for Brexit and now have boats stuck in harbour or unviable to go out , because their catch is worthless They got their fish back but unfortunately, cannot sell it. And they will get zero sympathy from me. And a lesson for Mogg and the rest of the dumbass, popularist Brexiteers ( and there are are a few on these pages) it is called the single market for a reason and means, frictionless trade. We choose to leave it, so delays to supply chains are the new normal Even , the odious Thatcher wasnt that stupid Si, empty shelves, in Northern Ireland is entirely the fault of the UK ,so called Government The UK is the only country ever, to start with a free trade agreement and impose economic trading restrictions , on itself Future generations will be gobsmacked by the stupidity if this generation, of so called politicians and Johnson's government of the talentless.

he is not upset he is happy because he wants it to fail .i find that odd really because himself and his family will have to live through it.there is no major problem and it will be sorted as the company says people are in place to help the smaller firms to complete the forms present orders will be delivered they are just not accepting goods with wrong paperwork. . Ha! Ha! Brexit doesnt need the wishes of Ian H Block to fail Its doing a pretty good job of that under its own steam.

Just about sums Brexit up Are you another Ian who looks backwards and negatively about it, or can we hope for some decent debate about the way forwards and how to get the best for everyone? The latter hopefully, because as easy as it is to debunk Ians propaganda it doesn't facilitate any kind of debate at all sadly. If anything it's tedious, boring and predictable.

I look forwards and negatively. Struggling with those tenses again. I appreciate you’re a fanatic, as Brexshit is the ultimate end product of blind fanaticism. And like all fanatics you are secretly riven by private doubts. It’s also human nature to project you’re anger at those exposing your weaknesses, but really you should be focusing your ire on those who lied to you for the past 4 years. As soon as you can accept that, you’ll be in a much happier place.

The latter hopefully, because as easy as it is to debunk Ians propaganda it doesn't facilitate any kind of debate at all sadly. If anything it's tedious, boring and predictable. In the interests of National unity and what any consenus politician would have done, would have been to go down the line of least resistance and left the EU, after the referendum and maintained single market and customs union membership. 1. To make sure goods could be transfered freely and 2 To stop the strain that Brexit has put of the very fabric, of the UK. ( But that was never going to happen because the conservative party, was too dominated by popularist sentiment Think Hestletine and Soubry, traditional conservatives who now are homeless. Remember there is about half the population who think Brexit is a terrible idea and still do. Remember Brexit is only as strong as the Conseevative majority and a more progressive government may go down those lines and seek ever closer ties with the EU Brexit is far from settled as is the debate about Scottish independence and a united Ireland and will dominated British politics for a generation

Time to snap out of it comrade! Where have I said I want it to fail? It’s just inevitable. A deeply flawed flagship policy with no grounding in the real world delivered by a carnival of liars, crooks and incompetents. I appreciate that the helmets who helped deliver this are looking for people to blame, but really it’s not the fault of random non-league football fans on a message board who aren’t cheering loudly enough.
