Wonder if that means we are about to sign one of the two keepers we've had on trial then? as Crump has departed and Mitchell has gone back to Burnley.

Makes sense as to why the failed wrestler is on trial.

According to Solihull forum he has left Chester and joined Worcester City ? Feel sorry for Worcester City. They were a solid Step 2 club, but so shafted by their owners they are now Step 6 and playing at Evesham or some other God-forsaken town. Edit ... Bromsgrove.

Gloucester are playing at Evesham. Thanks Rio. Always remember our last game in the league (CN) we'll be playing in next year. Full House at St George's (4,200). We won 1-0 with a goal from that electrician from Upton (name escapes me) and the last ever game at that old ground (pretty much centre of Worcester). Sold for housing and a new ground in the pipeline. Poor buggers are still waiting for that new ground 6 years later (and 4 leagues lower) and unlikely to ever get it. What happened to the money they got for old ground. Who knows, but I've a good idea.

Maybe it disappeared due to Worcester sorcery?

They seemed like a "proper" club at that level without meaning to demean the other sides we regularly faced. A ground in the middle of a decent sized city, and a crowd of over 4,000.

Gloucester have just started some ground clearance on the proposed site although this is currently on hold whilst a mobile phone mast is re-located. Not sure if this is a genuine, positive step forward or not. I need to read up on it a little more.

Aye ... Worcester & Gloucester are predominantly egg-chasing cities. Gloucester have been homeless for more than 10 years, since their original ground went under several feet of water. There's no reason why they shouldn't both have teams as high as the National league or higher. Good news if Gloucester are clearing land for a new ground. I hope they can get that underway before Swampy starts building a new ground off the M5 for FGR. I hate that club.
