Just like to add what a fantastic difference John has made to the changing room here.
You could be forgiven for thinking that this is inside a premier league club or indeed Wembley. I just hope the players appreciate the work as it's outstanding.
Just shows that whatever your talent in life, you can make a real positive difference to your club.
Well done John!

Nevermind the club, should start a crowdfunder so that man doesn't have to buy a pint for atleast the festive period.

While everyone is aware that the viewing areas for the disabled is not ideal it is worth pointing out that the Inclusive Blues (the Disabled Representative group) have been offered a number of alternatives by the club. Brian Burns, past Director, doing a lot of work behind the scenes and they have expressed their appreciation of his efforts. Most have said that they actually like the current viewing areas when the weather is reasonable as they are close to the action and feel more involved.
The majority IB view is that they would prefer not to spend money on interim measures and instead wait until the best option is affordable. The best option being fully inclusive access with a proper viewing area at the back of the East Stand, lifts to the Legends Lounge and all other upper areas of the club.
The Inclusive Blues realise that this will cost in the region of 250K and is a future aspiration. David Williams, recently elected Director, is currently investigating the possibilities of grants and funding to cover some of these costs.

Surely that's the sort of thing we need as a "target" for a fundraising committee - similar to the Countess' Babygrow etc. May run on for years but still...
