Seems a bit odd.
What does that mean regards profits etc?
Do the club make any more money out of this or do Dougherty and Allen pay us a fee and then take all profit from food and drink sales?
I pop in there when time allows for a pint as "it's money going into the club" will it still be going into the club or into Dougherty and Allen?

Should be using it more than once a fortnight. It's one of the few revenue generating assets that we have! |

Is now run by Dougherty & Allen. Where's that info from as I can't see any mention of it from our media or theirs? It would potentially make a lot of sense if a company like D&A who do a lot of wedding type stuff can get the bar in use far more often for events, receptions, meetings etc., and make it far more commercial and a regular income stream so that both parties would benefit. |

I've ate plenty of their food and have to say it is absolutely fantastic. Hopefully a mutually good move this and a way to bring some non-football fans to the stadium.

They are are a more than decent setup (even though they immediately raised prices) but don’t we need to make the most of all revenue streams? I hope this deal is emphasising that.............. |

That's certainly a question I'll be asking of the board at the next CFU meeting regards this deal.
I'd say I'm surprised there's been no mention of this deal via official comms or via the website but I'm really not...

Why is there even a thread on this, been common knowledge since preseason. Was better for the club as its guaranteed income with a percentage on profits, better for fans as the bar is offering more?! Been mentioned a CFU Meetings on atleast one occasion, if not two.

Not common knowledge, as me and my mates did not know about it, and we were all in the blues bar Saturday when told about it, what percentage do the club get then ?. |

Ive always had an (possibly impossible) idea that the BB should be run as a community cafe during the week.
Massive industrial estate, Goals, tip, Tesco, Aldi etc on the doorstep, with no cafe anywhere. Stick Sky Sports News on, do a good line in bacon and egg buttys and a brew in the morning, and a ham salad batch at dinner and away you go.
The one in the Kwik Save was always rammed and nothing has filled the gap.
