Fylde 2-1 up at Wigan at the moment. Thinking about Saturday I suppose it would be in our interest for that game to go into extra time.
Gateshead 1-0 up at Torquay, which would be good for us. 20-odd Gateshead fans have made that ridiculous midweek journey according to their Twitter.

Well done to the 13 or so Gateshead fans who've made the 750-mile round trip

Unless Hereford can beat Fleetwood on Thursday then for the first time in several decades there won’t be a non-league side in the FA Cup third round. Bit different to last season when Lincoln and Sutton enjoyed great runs,

Picture was before kick off. There was 27 Gateshead fans at Torquay tonight. Hats off to them all.
Incredibly, the fixture was meant to be played Saturday 23rd, but Gateshead didn’t want their fans to make such a long trip just before Christmas, they appealed for a new date and tonight is what they were given. Did that appeal backfire a little? Maybe so.

I'm surprised Torquay agreed to the swap must have cost them some money as I imagine a few of their supporters would have been missing

Hereford are now the only non-league team left in the division. It's looking likely that there will be no non-leaguers in the 3rd Round at all, which would be unusual. Another indication that maybe our league isn't as good as it thinks it is.

Not bothered what the teams below us are doing we are 4th from bottom and need to catch the teams above us Agreed .... just as we have a good result a lot of the catchable teams above us win also including Orient and Halifax. That 0-4 against Dagenham has really messed our goal difference. We would have to win our game in hand over Orient by 5 goals (theoretically) to get above them.

Heard one of them on Five Live this morning. He was at Torquay station waiting for his train home which was already running late and due in at 11pm this evening. Spoke very well about being a non league fan and the camaraderie at away games. Don't care much for Gateshead but hats off to him. He reckoned it was a 48 hour round trip but said he enjoyed the travelling as much as the game. Must admit there have times being stuck in traffic on the M6 has been better than some of the dross we serve up sometimes.
