This fan owned malarkey isn't working. Yes there's been bad luck in the past but this club needs an outright owner in and fast. Boycott until then and protest.

Are fans idiots?

Boycotting would be the worst thing we can do. But surely we cannot go on with the fan owned model as it is, because we are going backwards. A club with a majority fan imput with a board of directors would be one thing to look at

A set of supporters on or perhaps even running the board who have some football knowledge as a lot of us do wouldn’t be a bad idea. This is nearly as painful as previous shambolic regimes. Yet it’s people who care supposedly who are electing to slowly kill our club. For me we have an awful culture of a small number who are in control and will do things their way. Anybody who’s slightly outside the box but has a positive contribution to make will be brushed under the carpet. It almost like the select few powers that be protecting their own interests. Unpleasant stuff. The club in its current format with leadership as it stands is a sinking ship very sad. The only hope we have it’s hartlepool fold

To think we will finish fourth from bottom is very optimistic.

I don’t think finishing 4th bottom is as much of a pipe dream as staying up currently seems to be? Two no shows and 8 goals conceded in two 45 minutes spells of football on the last theee games. There would sadly seem to be something not correct in the camp. Or that’s what you have to assume.

'Boycott until we get a takeover'
Give your head a wobble sonny.
Heard from a reliable source that the Chester's 'designated pub' for the derby game next March is the Plas Coch. It's all up in the air as Banks' Brewery wants to close the pub for a month for a refurbishment. The back up designated pub is The Elihu Yale.

I think someone's opened the sherry early..
Boycott a fan owned club lol.
We need to force change by following the rules. If we're unhappy with the way the club is headed then we need to force change within the rules and that means calling for an EGM.
What we absolutely must do however is to first ensure we have people willing to stand up and come into the board to replace those we want gone. In addition, they need to have the experience, workrate and attitude to get on with it and get the job done.

Uptonblue - suspect you need a nose job - you obviously excel at cutting it off to spite your face, or do you just limp, having shot yourself in the foot? C’mon - are you really suggesting boycotting a fan owned club - just think that through for a minute....

Listen we all would love a return to the League wouldn't we. So like I say, someone comes in and owns the club outright and invests. That's the best chance we have.

I don't expect continual success on the pitch, I can take a defeat or two and I can take a relegation if I think we still have the right people behind the scenes on the board who I think are trying to build the club and have a plan that they are following to do so.
The impression I get from the CFU meetings and from other people is that those individuals that we collectively voted onto the board are not up to the job, and are basically making it up as they go along.
That is unacceptable. We need a board with a clear objective, a board that is held to account by the membership at CFU meetings, not full of sycophants blowing smoke up the boards arses every two minutes.
Collectively we as CFU Members have allowed this to happen. We must collectively bear our fair share of the blame, or rather those sycophants who voted those muppets onto the board in the first place.

It's alright saying boycott your club, and get someone to buy your club. People have to want to buy a Football Club.
We have people on Red Passion who say we should get a buyer in. but it's not that simple.

I boycotted when Morrison Shand were bleeding the club dry, when Mad Terry was using the club as his personal chequebook and when the Steven Vaughan project was nearing it's end. I can't boycott this season as I have a season ticket, although my next game will be Gateshead. I'm spending time in Glasgow and I'm enjoying it more than watching our bunch of no effort, no-hopers. The situation in the summer will be interesting if we've still got the same board, because I may feel I don't want to pay good money to see a continuation of what we've had for the past 12 months. Things can change, but I don't know the answer other than having a root and branch renewal.

Ive never boycotted even through Terry Smith regime and will never boycott understand the concerns though seeing us slowly deteriorate with no funds to help us my only request is please let's not ressurect the "Great Escape" theme as that's never worked before- Tomorrow will define us nothing other than a win will suffice anything else and I fear were down

The boycotting was the only way we got rid of Mad Terry and SV. I don't recommend boycotting at this time because we have to remember the mess we're in is all down to McCarthy, although MB does not look like the Messiah we hoped he might be.
