I know I might be pushing it a bit but:-
From MB's post-match interview:
"I will reflect on the league table at the end of the month. We are going to be in this until the final month, and you are probably suggesting it might not get down to the final month. If we continue to create this environment then I would tend to agree with you."
I wonder if he's preparing the ground.........

He might walk sooner than you think, he looks shot already.

As I said on another post, tbh I would not be surprised if he did walk. I think I would be seriously considering it if I was him. This squad is beyond redemption - not even Pep or Jose would have much chance with our lot.

That post match interview from Bignot is shocking. We’ve lost the Hartlepool game already on the basis of his comments. He appears more interested in someone brushing up than discussing the horror show. Joke Manager!

This squad is beyond redemption - not even Pep or Jose would have much chance with our lot. I don't agree with that. When Bignot arrived there was the odd 45 minutes where this squad showed it should be capable of at least avoiding a relegation spot (remember how we dominated and outplayed Wrexham in the second half). I suspect the reason for our pitiful performances of late is more to do with the breakdown in relationship between manager and players. It certainly looked like that today.

Who’d replace MB if he went though? Tom Shaw isn’t the future/ready imo
Having said that I suspect sending the team out without a manager probably won’t get a worse result than the last two games. .

You may be right but it seems to take about 10 games for this squad and the manager to fall out. Two or three decent half’s in 20+ games isn’t much use to us. I think what frustrates is that we have seen that potential but so infrequently that it is swamped by performances which make it look like they couldn’t give a toss. A squad that isn’t prepared to play for a manager unless it feels like it is a squad we can do without McC seemed to kowtow to them. I suspect MB does the opposite. Neither have succeeded. Hence my conclusion. Hope you are right and I am wrong but I know who my money is on!

They couldn't do much worse if they had no manager and used raffle tickets to pick the team at the moment. Bignot seems to have lost this lot.

On the basis of tonight’s interview and recent performances. It seems we have a rift again within the camp. As we know if no one wants to perform for each other then we are stuck. It certainly seems we are back there right now.

But what I don't get about this "lost the dressing room" argument is do these players honestly feel they've earned the right to get a gob on with any manager? If you're winning games and a manager starts rocking the boat, fair enough, but this is a team that hasn't managed a run of so much as four points from two games for OVER A YEAR!
If they were pally with McCarthy, why didn't they perform for him? He gave them the arm round the shoulder, and they played constantly badly. I still think it's the squad and the mentality (established by McCarthy) that's the main problem rather than the current manager.

The squad have had both ends of the managerial approach spectrum and still they don’t perform. Nuff said.

All the problems we face are symptomatic of us not being run properly.
I can take a season (or five) of struggle so long as I'm satisfied that off the pitch we're doing all we can to operate appropriately.
That definitely isnt happening any more.

Been based down south throughout his football career I think.
