Evening all! After mentioning my intentions to vastly improve the Harry Mac atmosphere last week, I've been blown away by the support from people. I've already had people from the club approach me to help, people help me to track down flags and banners, and a number of people suggest a crowdfunder to raise capital to fund the displays. I've wasted no time in getting it up and running; donations are greatly appreciated to fund additions to the Harry Mac; commencing next season you will see new flags and banners, a new drum etc to make the Harry Mac and fun and exciting place again. I understand there are some fans who piss about and it annoys me too. They know themselves it's got to a dire state with only a few of us about in the middle and a real lack of atmosphere. But we're determined to make sure this isn't the case for much longer. We are trying to get more people into the middle and sing for next season, please refrain from comments like that. We're trying. |

Andy, I think I may have used to sit next to you in my old season ticket spot. Behind the away dugout about half way up? Anyway if that's the case I'm now in the Harry Mac as you can tell. |

It's not just about getting fans in the middle it's about filling the terrace, personally don't think new flags and banners will help the atmosphere, filling and playing decent footy would. Ps not having ago and fair play for doing it.

It's not just the Harry Mac atmosphere that needs livening up, the noise from those few on the terrace was still far louder than anywhere else in the ground.
We'll just have to face facts, a polite round of applause is the best we can hope for.

Would love to get the harry mac like the good old days! Great picture this! Interesting that the people in this photo seem pretty old compared to the current lot. Everyone who is that age now is sat down or away from the singing. Can we get it back to how it is in this photo? All people all ages need to come into the middle to sing! COYB! |
