Anyone know what is going on with him as he wasnt in the squad on saturday is he injured or is he just going to be another wasted loan signing

Macca sees them in training, we don't. Clearly he felt on Saturday that Chapell had looked the better of the two. Why Chapell didn't get on the pitch however is beyond me!
Probably worth noting that O'Brien contacted Macca to ask to come here on loan, Wigan must be paying his wages and if he'd stayed there he'd have just sat in the stands. So from Macca's point of view, given our limited squad and misfortune with injuries it makes sense to have him in our squad for free.
Just depends if Wigan want him to get game time, but from his Chronicle interview it sounds like he's on his way out at Wigan so that might not be an issue for them, he may end up here next season?
