We now turn our attentions to the FA Trophy, as we take on National League South side East Thurrock United away tomorrow. We are currently in a good run of form in the league, and the players have looked loads more confident so hopefully we will deliver tomorrow. East Thurrock are currently mid-table in the league below us, and have been quite inconsistent this season. However, Kidderminster were in a similar position when we played them back in October, and look what happened there đł. It would be great to progress to the third round and claim some much-needed money too. I wouldnât be too bothered if it ends up going into a replay at our place either. As long as we win the tie, then that would do me fine. I will be trekking it down to Essex tomorrow morning, and am certainly looking forward to it. Personally, you canât beat an away cup tie. Hopefully the players will play to their best and avoid a banana skin tomorrow. Come On You Blues! Score: East Thurrock United 0-2 Chester FC (Roberts, White) Attendance: 473 (151 Chester) COYB!

Not sure why but I reckon this will be as easy as it should be.
4-0 Chester. (Dawson, Akintunde and a brace for White.

It will be disappointing if we don't win tomorrow, but this IS Chester FC. Maybe our latest signing can add the creativity that we've been lacking all season. 3-1 win.

Will be tough but nothing less than a win will do. Lose and all the gloom will descend again. I will take a hard fought 1-0.

Hope to see us progress in the FA Trophy. However, I'd rather have a win against Gateshead next week. If there was a choice.

Iâm with you all - hard fought single goal victory. In the current circumstances that would be very well received.

Very difficult one to call, this. The bookies have us as slight favourites, which is probably only because of our recent pick-up in form.
I think a draw, and a replay we could probably do without.

The pattern seems to be that if we don't concede early, and get a foothold in the game, we do OK. It will be hearts in mouths for the first 15 minutes.

If we are to progress we simply need to keep there star player Sam Higgins quiet 250 Goals with 16 hat tricks along the way
going for a 2-1 win with 200 blues

Will always take a draw away from home. Get them back up here for a money-spinning replay to finish the job.

Has the team gone today Rio ? They left at 10:00 this morning mate then trained at West Bromâs training ground for a few hours in the afternoon. Then they arrived at the hotel in London around teatime. It wonât cost the club any money to stop over this time, because with it being an FA competition, the FA pay for every team who decides to stop over at a hotel.

Lots of confidence on here today...
I'm not that confident but agree we are going in a better position than a few weeks ago. Hopefully we can defend well and nick a goal or two. I can't bring myself to make a prediction though - this is Chester we're talking about here.

Mid table conference South side, you'd think we'd have enough to see them off. I'm going 0-2 to us and this mini decent run to come crashing down next week to kill all our hopes as usual

Thanks. Bit of a shame for a club like East Thurrock who get for them what must be a great draw and it ends up actually costing them money (unless of course they win and pocket the ÂŁ7k prize money )
