Scheduled for 3 February now postponed, as Dover will be playing in the FA Trophy.
incidentally we would have been drawn away to Spennymoor.

If only we had beaten East Thurrock on Saturday. We would’ve had a great opportunity to progress to the quarters and who knows, we could’ve actually made it to Wembley.

Being a cynical Chester fan of 30 years, I feel it was another opportunity to travel to a tiny ground, with no facilities and a terrible pitch to watch another woeful performance😉

Is it possible we could move the Hartlepool game to that weekend as they have a free date as well? Maybe too much faffing about at his stage, but we'd get a better gate on a Saturday.

Rio in the last two trophy finals the team that won on the day Halifax followed by York but lifted the trophy but followed it with relegation, we are better out of it this year while we are struggling in the league.

Plenty of teams get relegated and don't win the Trophy, though!

The original match was called off the evening before it was due to be played, can't get much closer than that.

Hartlepool will have travel booked etc.

Hartlepool will have travel booked etc. I'm sure if asked they would be able to re arrange their travel, and it was more than a weeks notice when we knew. Were they even asked??? Chances are it will be postponed again due to the weather so why not due it well in advance?

Hope I'm wrong, but I can't help concluding that a factor in the Hartlepool game staying on Tuesday is our immediate need for cash through the gate if the rumours elsewhere have substance in them.
