Female footballers at a specialist college are looking forward to their first game of 2018 with a new team name which honours the training and support they have received from Chester Football Club.
Chester FC Community Trust continues its commitment to encouraging football at grassroots level working alongside young adults at the college for students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
The club has provided the newly named Derwen Devas, from Derwen College, near Oswestry, with weekly training for its growing female football team, as well as free kit and opportunities to attend Chester FC games and experience behind the scenes tours. -

Me and her indoors go there from time to time. There are some nice walks, gardens and a very inexpensive café. Some of the students there work in the café. It seems like a very good place for youngsters with special needs. Good luck to the project and the Derwen Divas.

This is fantastic and exactly the kind of thing that we should be doing.
It is this kind of work by the Community Trust that prompts companies like MBNA, Swettenhams Chemists and Red Insure to renew sponsorships with our club.
Personally I would like to see the CT (2k followers) posts like this instantly retweeted by the ChesterFC account to 33k people.
We should be so proud that we do this kind of thing and should be screaming it from the rooftops.

Virtually about to say the same thing - echo all of the above but would also like to add, after just one Mini Kickers session my eldest has attended last weekend, what an excellent coach Ben is. Credit to the Trust, which is a credit to the club.
