Can Deva Chatters still take the piss out of gay people though? That is still allowed though... as those threads still exist, so mods happy with that it seems. Essentially this is schoolyard level 'humour' that disguises actual hate. Deva Chat is eye opening, this along with the disabled mocking the other day..... and this is just what gets said willingly in public. Makes you wonder who you stand/sit by on a matchday. Don't any of you ever claim to be part of a community club.

Report the posts you find offensive and I will have a look at it, you do realise we moderate in our own time for everyone else's benefit, we don't sit at our keyboards waiting for people to post something so we can immediately moderate everything? i do occasionally nip out and work full time, get shopping and drive my kids everywhere, I sometimes get the odd minute to talk to the wife too.

Quite right to delete the original thread. I was shocked that Chester supporters would wish someone dead.
I know Vaughan wasn't everyone's cup of tea, that he operated on the dark side, but he wasn't a mass murderer.
Whilst he's alive he has the chance to set right all the wrongs he has done.

Could you not be arsed deleting the offending posts?
Piss take for those of us that made several constructive posts. I'd spent a few minutes looking into the situation and made a few posts regarding the company structures, lease of ground from council, speculating what may have caused these latest developments.
Now it's all gone. Cheers. Lazy virtue signalling moderation.

Whilst I took care not to repeat, or condone, the original posters offending sentiment, I did find it a bit strange how anyone could be so shocked when not so long ago the same words were pronouced en masse from the Harry Mac week after week.

If he confessed, and was sentenced for, every single one of his crimes, how many years would those sentences add up to? He might already be too old to have the chance to set right all the wrongs he has done.

Vaughan has had Hannibal in his pocket ever since...

I thought the locking down of questions against the Board was bad enough, but this really is a new low. 'the voice of the city'... nah it aint.

I refer you to the Shrewsbury thread on 8th jan when you posted the following: "It's all a matter of opinions. When SV bought the club I went to the meeting in Blues Bar. I was first there and SV came over and bought me a drink and seemed quite charming. I tend to take as I find. I met him again after one of the Brentford matches that we'd lost 3-0, when I couldn't find the Hipkiss. I'd been told that the bus was on the corner with the pub, but there was a pub on all 4 corners. He came by with his daughter recognised me and asked what the problem was and I told him. His response was if you don't find the bus jump on the team bus and tell Bobby (Williamson) that I said you could have a lift. I suppose I was quite naïve at the time and believed that he was a boxing promotor, but his 2 acts of kindness impressed me. Winning the Conference was only second to us beating Leeds 3-0 and one of the happiest successes of my 58 years of following the Blues. I only began to dislike him when his 2 sons were playing regularly and they were not fit to wear the shirt. Mad Terry was using Chester FC as his personal cheque book and I spoke to him in Safeway (Morrisons) just after he'd arrived and he brazenly told me that Ratcliffe would be gone soon and he was. I know virtually nothing about Gutterman, but instinctively disliked him."

An earlier post mentioned Vaughan atoning for his past alleged misdemeanours. This would be a great idea for a reality programme. He could be followed building the Liverpool hospital following Carillion’s collapse, visiting orphanages, helping out in nursing homes etc.

The thread was about Bangor.
They are a football club going through issues linked back to Chester due to the history. Any offers of support, be it digging about or whatever should be embraced and not deleted.
Moving on and looking forwards is one thing, ignoring the present and what can be done to help others is something else.

I very rarely take any comments from this forum at face value without doing my own research. It seems that the "issue" may not be as sinister as many on here believe. The club are trying to negotiate a better deal from the stadium owners and there is currently a stand off. The club are well on course to qualify for European football again this season which is VERY lucrative and any attempt to jeopardise this would be suicide. I also think that Vaughan and his offspring are given too much "credit" for their misdemeanours, they are merely puppets for their paymasters.

They've barred countless youth and amateur teams from using their 3G pitch and put this weekends matches in jeopardy.

Perhaps a Chester contingent could attend their next Supporters meeting and have a word?

I have a couple of workmates from that area who attend the odd game. They and the other couple hundred fans are now fully aware of the Vaughan Circus and, just like us, even though he failed the owners fit and proper test, have let the relative success on the pitch make them blissfully ignorant at what lies beneath. Unlike us though a fans protest is highly unlikely as they are low in number anyway and the club is unreliant to a degree of fans income. Intrigued with what if anything happens next
