Does anyone have a rough estimate how many CFU members there are? I can remember us hitting over 1,000 at the start? Im guessing it’s half that now?

Actually I think it was about 3,300 at reformation. I'm sure it was about half that figure. This link from 4th September 2010 reports a milestone membership of 2,500 at the time. I seem to recall 3,000 being reached and all the members names being super-imposed into the programme cover for our first ever home game against Trafford but as that was only four days later that would've meant 500 additional members in a a day or two (printing deadlines etc) so perhaps I was wrong.

It's fluctuated quite a bit over the years.
When we reformed it was just over 1000, and made it's way up to over 3,300 as Nathan suggests, but over a sustained period over the first couple of years.
Naturally people got their family and friends to sign up at the time when the club needed them to pull as many in as possible to get the club going. Those have fallen away since then which is a great shame but also goes to prove that everyone comes together whenever required.
Typically speaking I believe it's been between the 1000-1500 mark for the past 4 or 5 years.
Now is the time to sign up again if you are a lapsed member or not been a member yet.
A lot of chat over the membership fee, how many would be happy with paying say £3 per month instead of £1 on a direct debit if it were available?
We need a massive membership drive now.

Nowhere near enough, if a single owner was to put in a measly £12k a year the bile spouted would far outweigh anything aimed at MM and JM collectively. There are many on here who plug the virtues of fan ownership and "our club" time to dig deep and plug the shortfall otherwise CFU will be no better than Vaughan, Gutterman et al and be responsible for the death of our club again

Even having a CFU membership table in the Blues Bar at home matches would really help. Also could sell programmes and raffle tickets too. I couldn’t help every match as I live away but I would be happy to be on a rota as could promote the Exiles too!

Common graphic that does not change.
I would guess it is just north of 1000 and dropping.
