we can only guess on the RH situation but if the stories floating around about him swearing at a 14 yo boy are true then perhaps his"injury" in training is linked to that The chronicle report that others are to follow tom shaw out of the club now if the outgoing were fringe players(eg davies/waters/joyce) that would not be news as we already know they are trying to be off loaded we can all guess but sounds from dave powells comments that outgoings of what i will call first team regulars are imminent we will see

The original post does sound like picking ideas out of the sky. Maybe you shouldn't post if you it's just conspiracy theories.

White coming into form, could have a gem in Archer, Akintunde gives his all, season is pretty much over, do we really need injury prone Hannah on the biggest wage we've ever handed out with our current off-field situation? I don't think so.

I don't think so. Although we don't see it from many of this current squad, surely this is a minimum requirement of playing professional football? Doesn't change the fact he's not good enough.

Not up to this level (at least at this moment in time) and we can't afford passengers.

Up to the players and manager to recover anything but with the news in the past 48 hours about our off field situation I think National League North may be best for our long term future, where a cut in budget doesn't mean relegation and we can stabilise the club again without weekly disasters on the pitch. It won't be nice, won't be pretty, but for the long term future of the club, a few years in playoffs/mid-table may be a better platform to rebuild than constantly fighting relegation. Who knows. We'll all have a different perspective. What we all know is things have to change or we will not have a club to support.

The fact of the matter is, we shouldn't have been anywhere near fighting relegation this season. Our biggest budget since reformation, in the weakest Conference certainly since we've been back. Who's to say if we go down another manager not fit the office isn't appointed by this shambles of a board? Could well end up in a relegation battle in the league below. And it would be allowed to happen due to the glaring lack of accountability at the club. Staying in this league is imperative as a short term goal.

We may have our biggest budget this season but it's probably 18th-20th at best. So many teams with money this year. Even teams at the bottom like Guiseley, Solihull, Barrow have good budgets and continue to sign quality players this month. I don't think this is the weakest National League in recent years. There's no stand out team at the top or bottom, theres just more playoff chasing / mid able teams with lots of money so the general quality of the league has gone up imo. Unlike recent years there's no Hyde, Altrincham, North Ferriby, Braintree etc now they've finally gone. Torquay seem to be drifting away, but unlike recent years there's teams around the bottom able to spend money as I've already touched on. The teams I've listed above weren't like that. It's tougher to stay up, and easier to get promoted.
