Unfortunately I can’t make the meeting on Thursday, but would it be possible for someone to record it as an audio recording?
So other fans who also aren’t at the meeting on the night can listen back to it ?

Would a tripod + mobile be allowed?
Or will Bellis be open to transparency and make a live stream of all the meeting open to all? He is our comms genius!

Perhaps open it out to all so it can be archived, also might get some of the 1500-2000 lapsed members interested again?
Plus if it is a life or death style meeting on the club's future it seems only right it is not restricted.

You can also sign up on the night at the door.

To get the feed you have to be a paid up member of the CFU and aware of the meeting taking place, and be emailing Bellis for a link. You might as well ask the 1500 - 2000 others to run a marathon first, get six winning numbers and bum a dog.
My point was, make it open, make it shareable, make it free an unrestricted to all on the night - and thereafter.
iPhone + Youtube App = Go live, and auto archives for free.
No technical reason it can't be done, just Board policy.

Suppose they could host the stream behind a "paywall" whereby you just need to login to view if you're already a member or pay your £12 membership fee on the homepage and away you go - watch the stream. How's that?

How do you stream it, hopefully I can catch part of the meeting. Will either be: A - As above, run a marathon first, get six winning numbers and bum a dog, email Bellis, make sure you have Ze Number and you are fully paid up, and the email is in time, and you may get a link sent back with something that may or may not work. B - Chester FC's youtube page, as every normal live feed in the world seems to be on. I wonder which will be the one that gets used. Bellis reads these posts, so perhaps he can explain

How's that? We can't get a half season ticket offer out in time, and you want that to be built, tested, deployed, and advertised to all old members before the meeting? Its a fan meeting of fan owners, it should not be pay per view.

If the "fan owners" aren't CFU members then they're not "owners" by the definition. I've given a few ideas of ways to make it easier for people to view the meetings whilst keeping, quite rightly IMO, the members meetings for members. I'll have a think and see what else I can come up with for you.

I did ask on another thread whether some nice person could put the key points on to a DC thread similar to a match thread. Nothing special, just an idea of what's being discussed and rough idea of mood etc
Just a thought

However is the club looking to be inclusive, transparent and grow membership? Or has the current locked down system worked a treat? Show people the democratic process. Take the probably low figure of 1500, that is £22k income thats just been ignored. Those people used to pay it, now do not. They used to be owners, now are not.

If your not a member go round to someone who is and watch the live stream with them! However it wouldn't surprise me if the live stream inexplicably goes down given the possible intensity of the meeting
