what ever happened to joe the young lad had a decent little future ahead of him after being linked with a trial at Fulham a few years ago

Kind of felt sorry for Joe. He seemed to have a bright future ahead of him, I remember Fulham wanting to have him for a trial and initially he was highly rated by Neil Young, but was thrown in the deep end in completely the wrong situation in the game against Hednesford in which we lost 2-1. Far too inexperienced to ever make any sort of impact in a game like that. From then on, it went downhill for him which was a shame.

Kind of felt sorry for Joe. He seemed to have a bright future ahead of him, I remember Fulham wanting to have him for a trial and initially he was highly rated by Neil Young, but was thrown in the deep end in completely the wrong situation in the game against Hednesford in which we lost 2-1. Far too inexperienced to ever make any sort of impact in a game like that. From then on, it went downhill for him which was a shame. I think he came on at home to Nantwich in a game we were struggling to repel their late onslaught. It was painful to watch but he probably shouldn't have been thrown into that situation.

horrible winds and Hednesford rugby players that day think there the only team to do the treble over us since we reformed

I spoke to him on one occasion and he told me he was from Portsmouth. Very nice lad to boot.
