Not happy! You gotta feel for the likes or Norwegian Blue etc IF Wrexham were challenging for places come that game, I'd expect 8,000 Reds to snap up tickets. I'd like to also hope that The Chester fans are accommodated in the Yale Stand Tech End. 1,200 should be ample. I reckon WAFC will actually f***** lose f*****g money from this deal! Does anyone know what BT Sport pays National League clubs for televised games? It may be an Urban legend but, I was told it was a pittance. Something like £3.5 k . Absolute massive joke if true. How can it be a good deal for WAFC switching from a potential 8600 + gate to Mothering Sunday at Midday? We were putting chimpanzees into orbit in the mid 50's. If we've agreed to switch to a Sunday, It's Wales v Italy as well, for a couple of grand we're mugs. For every Norwegian blue there’s 4 or 5 lads who play football on a Saturday that couldn’t of made the original date. Welsh National League fixtures and kids football u15s and u16s in particular now have the opportunity to catch a game. If we’re still challenging at the top, the day and time will make not one jot of difference. But will they. A 12.00 o'clock Sunday kick off isn't going to increase the gate at all. Of those 4 or 5 lads who play football, most will probably be having a bit of family time whether by choice or not. That goes for both clubs.

Fact.

Another one here going to miss the game now as I'm going on holiday on the Sunday. Had booked it specifically on the Sunday knowing the game was on the Saturday. The fact that its Mothers day just makes it worse. A poor gate for Wrexham on what should have been a real good attendance.

It's the Wrexham Running Festival that day also www.runwales.com/events/wrexham/, I'm still not happy about the switch to Sunday. IF we are 'still up there' I'd expect 8,000 Reds to turn up for Saturday 3 pm. Every point is crucial. And yet we've agreed to BT's terms for a pittance.

Don't the League demand that you comply?

To be fair it only takes one person to throw in an antagonistic comment during an amicable thread to start the cross border nonsense again and it looks like you have that honour JB.

I suppose that could be because we were playing a league one team in the 2nd round and you were playing a more local match in the 3rd round at a premier league club?

Your famous 'H-Block' was half empty. In fact, you only seem to fill it when Wrexham come to your town! It wasn't even full this season when you entertained Tranmere! You remember? When Andy Cook purposely ran across and celebrated his goal? Half empty.

When we won the conference there was 5,987 with over 2,000 locked out. Lincoln are a good example. They used to average 2,500 now they get up to 11,000 for home games!
