Best make the most of it, It'll be a while before we play them again, even longer since we reformed.

We're heading for a 9,000 crowd on Saturday. How can they have a 'Bubble game' for Chester and 9,000 'come as you please' against Tranmere?

A Tranmere pal of mine said their allocation of 1800 sold out in just 2 days...

A Tranmere pal of mine said their allocation of 1800 sold out in just 2 days... I think it was 3 days. Undoubtedly there will be a few cuckoos in the home ends

It's embarrassing really, especially when the bubble has killed the crowd on both ends, what a pay day that will be. Can imagine there'll be idiots but it'll be a minority.

Yes there will be idiots on both side, but for some reason its not a bubble match.

A Tranmere pal of mine said their allocation of 1800 sold out in just 2 days... No, Tranmere have been selling tkts for between 2 & 3 weeks to their season tkt holders. They went on general release this week with around 900 left. They’re now sold out.

It will have nothing to do with the fact that one of the two clubs may well win the conference this year

Could be a great opportunity to have some sort of highly visible message to increase our profile nationally. I'm hopeless at things like this so over to the experts!

Bad for me I have flights booked for Oslo-Manchester on Thursday 8th and Manchester-Oslo Sunday 11th at 10.50AM. I booked them last year and got it for £45 Return. If I rearrange for 12th it will cost me an extra £130 plus £30 fee. Do I pay RyanAir or donate some of it to the fund? It's a No brainer isn't it?

That's it for me. I won't be going on a Sunday.
Might as well watch it in the pub or not. Could be a f**king massacre.

Not happy! You gotta feel for the likes or Norwegian Blue etc IF Wrexham were challenging for places come that game, I'd expect 8,000 Reds to snap up tickets. I'd like to also hope that The Chester fans are accommodated in the Yale Stand Tech End. 1,200 should be ample. I reckon WAFC will actually f***** lose f*****g money from this deal! Does anyone know what BT Sport pays National League clubs for televised games? It may be an Urban legend but, I was told it was a pittance. Something like £3.5 k . Absolute massive joke if true. How can it be a good deal for WAFC switching from a potential 8600 + gate to Mothering Sunday at Midday? We were putting chimpanzees into orbit in the mid 50's. If we've agreed to switch to a Sunday, It's Wales v Italy as well, for a couple of grand we're mugs.

Think it might be £6k for the home team. Much less for the away team.

We should know by now that the Cross Border Derby is almost certain to be televised by BT at least once a season, if not twice. We can't bite the hand that feeds us when it comes to broadcasting deals.
My only concern is I'll have to bring the missus' Mothers Day forward 24 hours to make up for it! The charity All Stars game is on her birthday too, so I've got some brownie points to earn...

Think it might be £6k for the home team. Much less for the away team. We opened up and sold blocks of 200 + persons in in the Yale Stand at the rate of 1.5 per day in the last few days before the Tranmere game. NWP and colleagues coped well with a near 8500 Saturday 3 pm attendance. No major issues. It all ran smoothly. We've seemingly agreed to risking a Saturday sell out for a 12 Noon affair on Mothering Sunday? The atmosphere's always dour on a Sunday as well. Own goal IMO

Sunday - Moved on police request 12PM - BT Decision
Total shambles again but let's be honest there won't be a derby for a while after this season especially if Wrexham get promoted. I could imagine this will take near 2,000 off the gate with people having already been set on the Saturday fixture, nothing wrong with playing on the Saturday. Sunday is a killer.

For every Norwegian blue there’s 4 or 5 lads who play football on a Saturday that couldn’t of made the original date. Welsh National League fixtures and kids football u15s and u16s in particular now have the opportunity to catch a game. If we’re still challenging at the top, the day and time will make not one jot of difference.
