There was a point during the 70's / 80's where whoever was doing the music at the time insisted every week on playing The Last Farewell by Roger Whittaker.

That doesn't make sense. You can't say that your world only exists where your world is found. That questions the whole existential nature of football and the wider world.
I have a habit of overanalysing song lyrics.
