If we go down does anyone know if we'd be able to sort the alcohol license so we can drink inside the ground again?
Would be decent if we could and hopefully we could have some decent beers on inside too rather then that £4 bottle of carlsberg shite

The only way around is if either the 'participants player for no reward' ie free or it is free admission to the sporting event, in the case of either happening, you'd be able to have alcohol at the games legally.

Bristol Blue is correct, the act applies to all matches and teams under the Premier League, Football League, National League, Welsh & Scottish Premierships associations. Beyond those you can throw a bloody great big piss up every game.

At this moment in time it is still possible to avoid relegation, Players need to give it a good go, if they have any pride they would get stuck in and take the challenge by the scruff of the neck and don't give up, don't lets think about conference north.

Not true I've been games at that level and had pints whilst watching game even this season Assuming the club would need and then be granted a change to its current alcohol licence, then the act would only apply to FA Cup matches from the first round proper onwards and possibly whatever plod decrees as a 'high risk friendly' match.

I never touch alcohol at matches Mind you, my consumption has gone through the roof in the last few years usually on a Saturday or Tuesday night!
But I feel for those who like the odd slurp at the game, hopefully the club will find the best legal solution.

I can't believe that people are still talking about staying up. None of them can have been at Maidenhead.

That's why I desperately try to erase the memories of the preceding 90 minutes in the evenings. During the game itself I don't want to miss a single moment of the never-ending excitement of watching us destroy opponents at will.

I can't believe that people are still talking about staying up. None of them can have been at Maidenhead. ,,,,, or many other games. I fully appreciate that most of you have committed hard earned money and have attended more games than I this season and have been witness to some absolutely terrible and gutless performances. Yes, the players and management cannot even imagine the disappointment and anger that those performances and results create. Obviously those performances have to change and a desire to fight shown by the players if relegation is avoided. If we as fans and supporters accept failure and relegation, then Bignot and the players will give even less inspired performances. It is still mathematically possible to stay up. What I'm trying to say is that whenever there is competition, whenever there is a chance of avoiding defeat whether it is sport, a board game, a project at home or completing a job at work. When it gets tough, NEVER GIVE UP !
