Just heard Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday plugging his annual March For Men walk raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer. He said that they are starting at Chester and then onto Tranmere and beyond. Presumably by starting at Chester he means the football ground. Anyone know anything about this? Surely it would be great if the club were really embracing this and drumming up support.

Sounds good and may have a go at this myself if I can get the day off. How are they marching from Tranmere to Liverpool though, will the tunnel be shut?

Unless I have missed something then why haven't the club advertised this? We are a community club, we should be shouting from the rooftops about it.

Spot on, surely if it's been mentioned for weeks elsewhere then why the hell aren't we shouting about it. This kinda thing would be great for the club. |

Signed up for this. £25 registration and whatever else you can raise all goes to support/ help prostrate cancer. Starts at Deva (lookers Vauxhall etc) via Trashmere Goodison and Anfield. Best start training then ......🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃

That's correct, not as simple as turning up on the day or simple registration fee. Looks similar to London Marathon charity entry state how much you will pledge to raise and they pick you to join them.

i know that whopper1 was well up for this a couple of weeks ago, but after 2 flights of stairs left him breathless in portsmouth, i'm not sure he'd make it off bumpers lane wooaah
