I’ve not heard anything...but now we’ve sorted the emergency £50,000 and starting to work on the rainy day fund is it as important to get early now? It was due in June so could we now use it and deal as we would have done any way? Just a thought.

We don't need the second instalment we've raised 75k and got the alabi money coming in

We don't need the second instalment we've raised 75k and got the alabi money coming in Alabi money is already budgeted for so that isn't included in the 75k I believe. Remember for God's sake, this is only a short term target. We still need more money to get us through to the end of the season and into next, and to raise money for us to reinvest in the ground and improve facilities.

However I wouldn't sacrifice any sell on clause now as we do have £75 k plus income due from Gren and Ed's market stall and walk, Race Night, Celebrity match DVDs and other stuff.
We will always need extra money unfortunately.

The Sam Hughes balance should go straight back into the Rainy Day Fund and be subject to 'no touch without fans approval clause'.

We don't need the second instalment we've raised 75k and got the alabi money coming in The £75k will last us about a month and a bit - and that's combined with trying to clear the two-year contract players off the wage bill too. That was always the case. I worry that people don't fully realise the extent of our financial woes. However I do agree that we need to save the rest of the Hughes money until the summer if at all possible.

Obviously we need money and need to keep going but I think we should save the second installment for end season

Now we have smashed through the original £50k target and savings from getting rid of the likes of MM and some players as well as the rumours re Sam Hughes money and to clear up any other speculations, it would be good to get an update from LK or board members and a new target for the next phase of fundraising which I don't see as a short term fix BTW but as a continuation of what we should be doing going forward.

We will also have the income from 8 home games, which hopefully will be better attended. We should aim to get an average of 2,000 to these games which will be boosted by the Tranmere game.

We should still keep up the pressure on the floating fan that we need to boost our home attendances. Keep up the good work but don't take the pressure off. We need to be getting at least 2k on Saturday and then the team have to do their bit to entice the fans back on the Tuesday.
Obviously the hardcore will be there for both. But it appears that isn't enough.

The Fundraising team need just 100 supporters to help them with these scratchcards. Take them to work, out in the local community, pubs/Clubs. They will make the Club 7k!!! See the fundraising team in the Blues Bar on Saturday for details. Thank you, Ed

See the fundraising team in the Blues Bar on Saturday for details. Thank you, Ed Ed, are there any plans to have one or two of the scratchcards going around the stadium on match days? Pretty sure you could get 100 people to take part - winner could be announced by Cleggy at half time.

Looking at some of the number plates in the car park last night it was obvious a fair few Liverpool fans had attended, so maybe we can try entice them back (along with a few others) by offering up the season ticket holders at another club offer again, for say a tenner. Sure it's going to piss the odd one off who pay more to get , but just because we have passed the 50k mark with ease, doesn't mean our financial situation is no longer critical.
