At the game on Thursday I overheard two fellas chatting about the likelihood of us being subject to some sort of financial bond next season. Anyone know what that means in detail? One mentioned £125k had to be paid to the league before we play any fixtures to guarantee we would complete the season.

It's the same every season I think, all came about by our demise last time sadly. Pretty sure that this seasons bond will just be transferred onto next, although I could be wrong.

Can’t see it. Financial issues have come from budgeting problem not long-standing financial problem

Not that Im aware of. Our issue is cashflow, not debt.
As supporters and owners we have worked together to ease our cashflow, and we have structured plans in place to continue to grow our income streams.

I am surprised we have not been asked for one already.
The Board said there were worries if we could see out the season - have we had any confirmation that has changed yet?
If not, the league could ask for a bond at any point.

Was told today at the game......failure to pay any bond requested, could result in at least one relegation, possible expulsion from the national league system and once requested, would have to be paid immediately.
Apparently Us, Hartlepool and two sides from the national league north/south being monitored.
Those are the perils of going public with a financial plight.

Exactly.
Bear in mind relegation is not as simple as moving down a league, it is reapplication etc etc and I should not have to explain that possible mess.
If we get called for a bond it really would mean the actual death of the club. That is why I think we are being spared, as for the shitness of the league, they know what it would mean.

Managed to get yet another swearword in, then? What's that, 3 in 2 consecutive posts?

Oh no, someone said 'shit' when referring to the administration of the league and possible death of the club when those idiots decide if we get lumped with a bond. Well played on getting the important aspects of the post there. Deva Chat modding or future existence of the club, top blue activity right there. Well done.

Again, as Mark has already eluded to, there has been no mention of any bond whatsoever.
Let's put that one to bed.
If it turns out in the future that we get told different then I'm sure we'll feed that back to the owners.

Have there been conversations with the league over the issues we are in?
