I'm not usually one for ranting about individual players, but he really p***ed me off today.
It was bad enough watching him pretend to be trying today, but his petulance toward Crawford was really poor. Not bothered who's fault it was. He should behave. He's acting like a spoilt child or maybe someone who thinks he's too good for this team.
I've news for you Ross. You're not!
He spent the whole game walking or jogging about. He almost made sure he couldn't receive the ball at times. On the occasions he did get it, he played it off first time. That was an exercise in making sure he didn't get injured.
The spat with Crawford was typical of someone who doesn't want to be there. He had a good position in the 6 yard box. As the ball came in he moved to the front of the box and appeared to let it go past him. That caught Crawford out. Obviously something was said. Throwing your shoulder at a team mate shows a lack of respect and team spirit. I note on another thread someone saying Crawford shouted for him to leave it. Maybe he did??
Hannah gave our keeper a mouthful at Wrexham last week in the 2nd half before a corner. The way he lent his head forward when he sneered at him wasn't good then. Especially as he'd done absolutely nothing since coming on. The man is a disgrace.
The minimum we expect is genuine effort and respect for the shirt. For an experienced player to do neither is disgraceful.

Lets face it Hanna and Archer didnt have a scrap of support up front proberbly frustration the midfield were just defending for their lives and hanging on we had no width or anything balls just kept coming back good job we had a decent goalie in Man of the match says it all Even he got critisised at Wrexham We are just not good enough

He needs to go ASAP. You'd have assumed he was one of those playing for free if you weren't a Chester fan he was that bad. Shocking, as was his attitude towards Crawford. Leave.

Hardly covering himself in glory is he? Barging Crawford about after earlier in the season telling a 14 year old fan to fuck off. Not exactly the sort of behaviour you'd expect from a senior pro - the highest paid one no less.

But he loves the club...... Needs to find himself and his ego another club as he has badly let us down this season. Has taken home our largest wage packet but hasn't delivered the goods. His overall attitude has also stunk the place out at times - hurling insults at fans and team mates whilst jogging around, giving the ball away and generally looking disinterested. Yes, our forwards haven't had the best of service this year but he hasn't stepped up to the plate. His behaviour towards Tom Crawford, rightly or wrongly, was embarrassing.

Players like Archer are young and learning. They should not receive all this sock so I agree with that. Players like Hannah, McCombe, Turnbull have arrived at Chester with good experience at this level and their effort and attitude has been an utter disgrace to this football club and ourselves as supporters who pay their wages.

Absolutely embarrassing from Hannah and completely out of order, is he having a go due to frustration of his own poor efforts.

Got nothing against the lad, but I hope Hannah sorts a move away this summer for both of our benefits.
I’m sure there will be other clubs willing to take a chance on him, but we can’t afford to keep him in the Conf North if he’s our highest earner.
I’m sure that he’ll still score goals at this level given the chances.

Why not? (blueforever)Jones and Crawford have actually improved the team and are a step up in standard from the dreadful McCombe and Turnbull. Just need about another 5 or 6 to go. Hannah for starters. Rapidly followed by Mahon, Akintude, White, Rowe Turner, Dawson etc. To be replaced by young, physical players from lower down the leagues, who are hungry and actually want to play for the shirt. We know from experience that the best part time players are better than the worst full time ones and the above shower are on a par, with the worst Chester team, I have seen in all my time following them. Any abuse they get is richly deserved.

Shocking from Hannah today. Even worse considering he is the biggest earner at the club.
The Problem we have is, who would take him off our hands???

How the mighty have fallen. I remember all the laughing we did towards Wrexham (me included) when he turned them down and signed for us. With hindsight I also applaud the people who said never get someone back, it just tarnishes their legacy. Either way, yesterday’s performance was exceedingly poor.

Shocking from Hannah today. Even worse considering he is the biggest earner at the club. The Problem we have is, who would take him off our hands??? IMO. Hannah has been carrying an injury all season. You just have to look at his warm up exercises and the fact that he always has strapping on his thigh. He is crocked.

I can accept a few poor performances. Let's face it we've all seen a few over the years. . . . What I won't accept is a complete lack of effort. He just jogged about making sure he didn't get injured. That was a disgrace to the shirt and us, who pay his wages. I didn't criticise McCombe or even Halls, because I believe they put the effort in. There's a real difference in playing badly and what Hannah is (not) doing. The point you make regarding the open abuse towards players is valid though. It isn't going to entice players to come here, or want to stay and play for the shirt when they are here. Our crowd haven't done themselves any favours this season at all. Embarrassing at times.

Unrecognisable from the player we had 2 seasons ago.
I just hope that Harrogate fancy a Yorkshire-based 'experienced pro' for their first season in the conference next year. He'll probably still score a goal or two for a decent side, but he's a shadow of his former self.

Seen too many substandard performances to know that he will be nothing but a liability next season. Didnt look up for it one bit yesterday.
