I really really hope Andy Firth goes on to have a very good career in this game, top lad. Great performance yesterday and I don't think he's done too bad since coming in, he's had to sit and wait his turn. Almost think he's been too good for us sometimes, especially when he has the ball and is immediately looking to distribute the ball but due to a lack of movement from our outfield players is left just standing there. He shot up in my estimation before yesterday's game when he tweeted "Back at home tomorrow on Paddy’s Day. 9 cup finals to go... #CFC #COYB chesterfc" The lads still got fight in him, and he's on loan! Unless I've missed them I've not seen any of our contracted players showing same level of fight on social media (the only other was Hobson, again on loan). Even his interview in the programme showed his maturity and respect for this level of football.

Yes, he made some key and excellent saves yesterday and deserved MoM (although let's face it, the competition for that was minimal), BUT... I can't for the life of me understand why someone who has been playing for any length of time in that position still can't kick a ball, I lost count of the number that went out to the right of him around the half-way line for a potentially dangerous throw in. Add to that he still doesn't command his area and shout to the team about whether he is getting the ball or not, as a result the opposition nearly scored more than once due to confusion on our side in the area.
I know he isn't costing us anything, but equally is he really better than Lynch was?

Dawson was on twitter the other week liking tweets from Wrexham fans saying when you leaving that shit club I think liking a tweet that you don't particularly like has the effect of drawing an end to the conversation. If you keep on you'll just keep getting crap back. That's my feeling anyway.

I know he isn't costing us anything, but equally is he really better than Lynch was? To be fair, he was aiming the goal kicks down the centre and the wind was blowing it into the west stand. And he was screaming at his defend to push out and trying his best to be commanding. We shouldn’t get carried away after one good performance though.

The relevance to a thread about Andy Firth? All the relevance in the world when talking about social media and players. The post before it mentioned that the only two players showing any visible sign of caring on social media are both on loan & so in contrast he mentioned a contracted Chester player who seems keen to move to our biggest rivals.

Spot on. Everyone apart from old Corbyn’s vest (Mancot Blue) grasps it fully. Now read that back Mancot I want to make sure you fully understand.
