Are the companies that are involved in the building of the bus station, the cinema/arts complex and whatever is being done in Frodsham Street competing to see who can be the most incompetent? I believe the cinema and the bus station should have been completed in November. All planned under a Tory administration.

When the bust station is finished, it is certainly going to be fun and games, the buses will ALL be coming out onto the "Gaumont, Now Bingo" roundabout! Can anybody tell me how this is going to work, especially at "Peak" times? My guess is that there will be at least a "bus a minute" either leaving or entering the the bus station at anyone time during the day and early evening, I predict chaos, I can't see any other outcome, does anybody out there know of any other possible outcome?

I've heard talk of bus operators refusing to use the new bus station due to the high charges. Chester city centre is, in my opinion, dying a slow death. high car park charges, lack of public toilets and many closed shops, There are more coffee shops than retail shops. I only visit once a month to pay a bill and that's too frequent. What is there for tourists to do of an evening?

The majority of Chester tourists are unlikely to be going clubbing due to age (unless its a Race Day) and there are lots of decent pubs and restaurants to visit in Chester of an evening. CHester city centre has been going downhill I would agree with that but the new Storyhouse development along with the Northgate regeneration plans can only be a good thing for the city.
