Those board members who landed us here, do you have any shame?
When will you accept you have wrecked our club?
You were warned on so many occasions about the havoc you were about to inflict on our club. Do you feel no accountibility for putting friendships ahead of our club?
It stinks, we deserved better.

Some genius has offered Dawson a new contract with double his salary. Bravo. Bravo. Not sure what’s going on but it’s look as though a Wrexham fan has being in disguise on the board? No one can be this thick surely.

Apparently it was Calvin who offered him this contract This is not a comment about Dawson (who I feel is getting too much blame) but how is Calvin able to offer a contract to a player when he is only a co-opted member of the Board? Comment from someone please.

Apparently it was Calvin who offered him this contract heard the same, double his money as well If accurate this is unacceptable when the Club is in financial trouble and the performance of the player has been poor to say the least. Perhaps NWAS or Banksy could clarify the position and if true the decision making process which took place and did this is involve the current manager?

Appears Calvin has tried to protect the club as Newport are interested in Dawson. I thought it was crazy offering him a new contract but to offer him double money is incredible.

Comment from someone please. So it’s okay for him (Dawson) to get himself intentionally sent off then allegedly swear at the fans who pay his wages?? Jesus, it’s only the offer of a trial and on that basis he gets a new deal. Unbelievable! As soon as Newport see what a bag of HSBC bank he is they’ll get rid of him within minutes.

Can understand the thinking behind it after the Heneghan fiasco.

Can understand the thinking behind it after the Heneghan fiasco. But why double the wages? And we can’t even get compo can we? He’s 24.

Can understand the thinking behind it after the Heneghan fiasco. Nah, it’s not the same. Heneghan was playing well for us, was a couple of years younger than Dawson and we knew there were bigger clubs sniffing after him. You can’t just react to some rumour about a League club wanting a player by giving him a new contract. If we get a fee for Dawson I’d be amazed.

How does offering Dawson new terms protect the club? Unless it's intended that he remains part of the squad for next season. He's too old for him leaving to go to a tribunal, and I doubt anyone is offering a fee.
Genuine question, how does offering him a further year protect us?

Can understand the thinking behind it after the Heneghan fiasco. Why do you keep repeating that when the situation is self-evidently completely different? Heneghan was under 24 meaning the club would have been due a tribunal fee had we offered him a contract. Not the case for Dawson. Heneghan was clearly a very good player who had performed as such for a sustained period of time. Certainly not the case for Dawson.

Quote from MB in Chron:
"It is not a time for me to talk on behalf of the football club in terms of how it is going forward. I think the football club now has to talk with regards to where this football club is heading.
"We have spoken before, we have identified the problems and there are more problems to come and we identified the solutions to that. If we don't feel there is problems and we have raised the money and we are going to be OK, put it this away, going down isn't going to solve anything, it will only add to what we see coming.
"I want to keep it as much on the pitch as possible and it is now for others to come out and talk about where this football club is going."
Seems like there is more bad news on the horizon, clearly there are some big issues here that we haven't been made aware of and the drop into the CN obviously wont be the utopia that some posters have convinced themselves that it might be. I wouldn't be surprised if a decision is made to drop straight down into EvoStik North or lower!!

He's just cryptically saying what we already know. - Problems when the James and Hannah loan deals end, the need to get them both out of the door permanently ASAP. - The reduction in the playing budget next season Tbh I think he knows he won't be here next season. The best opportunity today to try and get 3 points on the board and he decides to play Bignot bingo.
