Personally think the criticism of Joyce on here is unwarranted. He was constantly being dragged out of the centre of midfield to cover for Durrell in particular, but also for Lloyd who seems to like to play in a 'free role' across the whole of the midfield rather than in the centre. This is okay against weaker teams but leaves us badly exposed against the likes of Tranmere. Joyce is just an easy target for criticism.
However, I would agree with the majority re: Hudson - I think he's okay as a backup option at this level, but the goals conceded with him at centre half compared to when Hughes is playing there speaks volumes.

Firstly everyone at Tranmere is saddened to hear of the passing of one of your own at the match last night. Tranmere fans are looking into the possibility of doing something for the family. On the match itself I thought apart from the result you lot had a number of positives to take from last nights game. That young lad who started at right back looks a real prospect and that Alabi although a bit raw is a serious handful. Thought you lot gave us a real battle and even in injury time we were still concerned you would grab another. On Cook's celebration let's be honest if one of your lads did the same you would all be saying how great it was. That Mahon who came on was a real threat and caused us problems every time he got the ball. Very direct. Overall we were relieved to get away with the 3 pts our bench won the game and I imagine most of the lads on there would get into most national league sides. Best of luck for the rest of the season. In all honesty, no I wouldn't. I'd find it embarrassing. He could have got himself or someone else hurt. He's done that twice against us and there's just no need for it. Why not celebrate in front of your own fans? They're the ones there to see you. He just comes across as someone looking for a fight. I bet if you saw him in a pub he'd that knobhead going round saying "you looking at my bird?", "did you spill my pint?" and so on. That aside, you're undoubtedly a better team than us and probably deserved the win. I think you and Lincoln are the best sides in the division and will go up. We gave a good account of ourselves but we don't have any strength in depth and will always concede if our first choice back four aren't available.

Lobster, you've said exactly what I think about Cook. When his career is over the next time we will see him on TV is "Cops with Cameras". Comes across as a troubled individual, who if not a footballer would be a criminal inflicting misery on others.
You just knew when he scored that he'd try and incite the Chester fans. Any other player would have gone for the adulation of his club's fans but pretty boy obviously feels that goading and incitement is more of a priority.

The refereeing performance last night was especially poor. Harris should have had a minimum of two yellows and the penalty decision was farcical. Add to that the fact that he did not send a player to the touchline after being treated for injury. A player treated for an injury doesn't have to leave the pitch if the offending player is booked or sent off.

3 more years and you can celebrate ten years too,ten years existence that is. Hope you are starting to print your 600 complimentaries to boost your next home crowd, never mind you'll have some new flags next season that pack em in If as you say we killed our club and we really are only seven years old, why the rivalry?Β Don't forget that in 1883, their fans behaviour at an FA Cup tie killed their club too. I say don't forget, because they obviously do, frequently.

Bear in mind that the only reason that Wrexham aren't playing in the Brymbo and District Sunday league is that they had close to Β£2million of taxpayer's money given to them by Glyndwr University. Their fans didn't even have the initiative to make a fresh start.

An scoring lots of goals. An im sure if you had scored in the last minute some of ur fans would have gone on to the pitch . . It was a great darby . An you should be proud of ur team . We are Have to agree it was a great game, and i'm not too fussed about fans on pitch as i know we would have done the same. I think the playoffs will be extremely tough this year, and I think it will come down to the team that shows up, as there's no great gulf in class between the top sides. Have to say, i can't understand why Dover's Ricky Miller is still in this league, he's bagged 30 league goals so far this season, he bagged over 30 last season, if i'm not wrong if was near 50 in all comps last year. He's their biggest hope of playoffs. Gateshead are in fine form as well nearing the top5 week by week. I can see it being Gateshead nicking 5th and playing Tranmere. With D&R playing FGR. Overall as a Chester fan, i'd love to see us looking at more trialists as the season pitters out now, we're not going to go down/get playoffs, so we should look to build. We have some really good players at Chester, but some not do great. I thought Joyce had a fairly good game given that he was trying to cover so much of Durrell's work too. Must say, i'd be looking at a quick striker that fits the Matty Hughes build for next season, more of a goalscorer than Richards. I'd also bin Chappell/Durrell/George and Marsh personally...don't want to see a mass exodus, but a few new faces and another goalscorer with Alabi and we could be a decent side. The new lad in midfield has a few games to prove his worth, so hope we have found a player there.

Trfc fan er as for cook .yes we have a bully .but if you had a guy who everyone hatted playing for you wouldn't be bitching about the guy. He has scored 56 in less than 80 games. We normally get bullyed on the pitch . an we dont like it but its about time we gave some of the of the bulling back . If you had won you would do the same . Good luck for rest of season

I've noticed all the bad grammar and shocking spelling has come from Tranmere fans π€π€π€ Surprising really as you can understand it coming from Goats with their extra fingers and occasional webbing, Whereas having fingers amputated as a result of having them trapped in downstairs windows closing, you have thought it would have made it easier to type with.
