It's almost time. Being a ball boy for these matches makes my spine tingle. I'll be there tonight to cheer the blues on, but it will be tough. McCarthy needs to use the same tactics as he did at Southport, and Ryan Astles needs to shut out Andy Cook. Remember his celebration? If we play like we did in the second half of the reverse fixture, we could nick it.

Hello all devachatters 2 , just to remind anyone in or near London tonight that some us exiled fans will be meeting at our very football friendly pub, The Horseshoe, 24 Clerkenwell Close, EC1R 0AG (approx five minutes walk from Farringdon station) to watch the match on BT Sport. It'll be tough tonight with the few injuries we have, Shaw and Vassell could be big misses in particular.
Looking forward to it though, if not only so that this whinging Tranmere lot bore off quickly afterwards.

Pitch could be heavy by KO so could be a slugfest
On the face of it, we are not expected to win BUT THIS IS A DERBY AND ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
I'll be happy if the lads show the passion and commitment they showed at Prenton Park
Our fans have a big role to play tonight so I hope that EVERY Chester player gets the full support of the crowd.
If so, I predict a deserved draw (1-1) or a narrow win to the Blues (2-1)

Feel like we need to play out of our skins to get anything out of this tonight..just hope we don't sit off and let them have all the possession, a la the Fgr game, as their attacking threat will just take us apart imo.
Still if we get in their faces from the off then who knows!

Weather is gonna make this an interesting match up tonight, pitch will be heavy and it probably gonna get ugly... Need to stick with Sam and Ryan in central defence and just hope Richards finally turns up on the pitch tonight.

Although we have many coloured Raffle Tickets at our draws at the Senior Blues, this morning it was blue and white tickets that kept being drawn out this morning, is that a good omen I wonder?
I would take a draw at the moment, which would put us jus a win away from the managers target for the season

I was watching the webchat with Dave Powell yesterday, neither likely to start but may make the bench. Shaw got clattered last week when attempting a bit of a daft challenge on Higgins. |

We've had a lot of penalties, some of them very generous, but we've also had countless instances where we should've been playing against ten men, as you'll know, Goats n Roses! |
