Played poor tonight yet again, not kept the ball or passed it well. Macca needs to bin off a good few from this squad, but he will no doubt come out and defend some of them.

Andy Cook running over to celebrate his winning goal in front of your famous H Block was funny! It was an entertaining game for the neutral. The pitch held up well after a lot of rain. One of the most diabolical penalties I've ever seen! Tranmere ran out worthy winners. Should've been 1-3

Some criticism here is a bit harsh I think. Thought we did alright really and battled hard, we just aren't as good as them and they can bring the likes of Cook (who's an arsehole but a good player) off the bench. Still think it's Tranmere and Lincoln who'll go up this season.

That is really frustrating. Shouldn't be losing after being up and under 10 mins left. Second time of late as well. Sorry but Hudson not good enough at back and needs to be Hughes and Astles.
For me it's all about partnerships and we don't have any going. Hudson and Astles don't work, Joyce and Lloyd don't and Richards and Alabi don't. In certain places you need the right relationships. I play centre half or right back and I have to have the best relationship with either my other CB or right winger. These lads aren't on same wave length

Played too deep yet again we just invite teams onto us ame conceding goals for fun.

Richards brings nothing to this team. Felt for Alabi having that alongside him.

Don't let him get to you. He might be a good player but he's the sort of bloke you'd see on Jeremy Kyle. Will probably end up in prison before long. Harris is the player of theirs I can't stand. Total moron. All the more annoying that he was absolute gash playing for us.

Some poor performances tonight from the usual suspects. Great to see Mahon feature, he did more in the last 5 mins than Richards did all game. Richards just doesn't work with Alabi, he is too easy to play against, I just don't rate him at all. Midfield was really poor overrun too easily and found wanting on the break. Didn't think we played well at all and the sooner we hit the 50 point target the better so Macca can put this season to bed and start working on next season and planning a squad together.

Do we went 70 odd. Mins tranmere only had one goal then we go back to a single loan striker and wham bam we get beat how many times will we invite teams to attack us. Our defence isn't good enough to be under so much easy pressure if we play with one up front big mistake with sub only good thing was Craig who. Are on too late

The Hughes money needs re injecting into the playing budget. Defo Needs a shake up.

Gutted with the result after being ahead twice. Particularly against them, but we didn't lie down and kept battling. We got a lucky break with the penalty, they got a lucky break with Harris staying on the pitch after forearming Richards.
Overall we can't argue Tranmere were the better team, which is why they are pushing for promotion and we're not. We have some limitations in our team, but also plenty to build on for next season.
I've been a defender of Richards because his pace can cause problems which it did leading up to the first goal, but he hasn't added anything else to his game. I would prefer to play Mahon alongside Alabi from the current squad.
I thought Dawson looked decent and a positive addition to the squad. A lot to do for Macca to maintain this for next season. I think we have punched above our weight this season. Next season will be harder.
