One Chester fan got pushed over the wall = dragged out the stadium by police.
About 30-40 Tranmere fans run on = police stand still and do nothing, let them run back into the stand.
Oh and also a Tranmere launching a bottle which hit a steward right on the head, nothing happens again.
Complete farce.

They really had some quite horrible individuals amongst their following. Cant see them getting such an easy ride when they go and visit the goats if they turn up on the train and think they can go around bullying people

They'll be housed in the upper tier of the TES only for their own safety as much as anything else.

Or what about the lads who ran on when Alabi scored against Wrexham the other month.

I read somewhere that one Tranmere fan was arrested for throwing a flare and was in possession of another.

Some things are clearly not acceptable and rightly can't be defended.
Yes, TRFC have our quota of helmets, but then all clubs do, including yours. I used to follow the old Devachat when you were on your journey back through the leagues, and whilst I admired the rise of the Phoenix, you can't deny that there was some poor behaviour by your "boys" at many of the smaller grounds.
It goes on. By the way, that H Block are hard as nails aren't they?

H for hilarious. What a laughable bunch they are.
As for the idiots who got on the pitch. Unfortunately due to the completely over the top intimidating police presence at last seasons game a large number of us, me included, decided to swerve this seasons game meaning something like 200 tickets went on open sale and some of those tickets got into the hands of some of Birkenhead's less desirable citizens.
And to to the Wrexham fan who commented about "for our own safety" I think that comment says more about the sort of low life who "support" your club than about us. The 1800 Rovers fans going to that game are more than capable of taking care of their own "safety" thanks very much

Dont think you will see them claiming to be some super firm. They are all young kids who are following their club rather. As for the comment by the goat about your safety. I think he might just be right!

...... er, no, you really don't, do you?
Nowt wrong with creating a bit of an atmosphere - I like that, but to whinge about the conduct of away fans whilst turning a blind eye to some of your own muppets is a bit rich. I think we can all accept some behaviour is boisterous banter, whereas other stuff crosses the lline .... no?

It does seem to be the case that encroachment and other offences by away fans is treated differently to home fans. Cheshire police spent months tracking down and punishing several Chester fans after the Wrexham TV home match (the one with the 1 minute silence fiasco). Such is their ineptness at policing Chester FC Games, you can be assured Cheshire Police wont be pursuing any away fan beyond the Cheshire West boundary!
The comments from "24224" attempt to rewrite history. Going back to back to the evostick and Conf North days, other than the first Chorley game and the exaggerated events at the Colwyn Bay friendly in 2010, Chester were welcomed at most grounds, although one or two clubs did attempt to profiteer from our large away support causing unnecessary problems. During our progress up the leagues, I am not aware of any consistently poor behaviour resembling anything like that which TRFC fans are well known for. Despite occasional logistical problems and carping from some "non league fans", Chester enjoyed a reasonably good reputation in spite of our acknowledged "risk element".

Is at why one of them posted on Twitter that "H block are waiting for you Tranmere c&@ts" and if they are as you describe why do they deposit themselves as near as possible to the visiting fans and spend half the game screaming abuse and making finger gestures? We had a similar little crew at our place and the police closed that part of the ground down thus solving the problem. Pity your police haven't done the same.

Fair enough blue murder - happy to stand corrected if I got that wrong.
Kinda swings and roundabouts for us. Imagine our last game in the football league, at home to Bury. They get promoted, loads of them gloating on the pitch at the end, and the GM Police, who were lining our town paddock (the equivalent of H Block) making us the villain of the peace for not encroaching but not being happy with what was going on. Conversely, we were on Stockports pitch a few years ago after staying up when they were relegated, so maybe what goes around comes around.
When tensions are running high, obviously such pitch invasions potentially have consequences, but hand on heart, have your lot always behaved impeccably and never invaded the pitch? By the way, I know the answer to that as I have seen it with my own eyes.

Have Chester paid for the broken seats and damaged toilets at Prenton Park? Of course this must have been God's dirty work; not the innocent cherubs of Chester. Oh how I despise angels. Off to stoke another fire now! Hell hath no fury like flaming football friction!

As you say these incidents tend to happen at higher profile matches further up the football pyramid. I was just correcting your inaccurate suggestion of consistently poor behaviour at smaller grounds by Chester fans several years ago, although I accept we are in no way perfect and incidents do happen. However, I can't recall of any such large scale pitch invasions by our fans in the last few years , home or away, after late goals or just general trouble. The comparatively few who invaded the pitch against Wrexham for the last minute winner were dealt with through the courts.

I was lucky enough to be enjoying a quiet pint in the Shrop when 30 of Birkenhead's finest turned up. One even had a Russian style full face mask. Pleased to announce no one was even disturbed by a 5 minute spell of ashtrays and chairs bouncing off doors and glass. Pissed off the bar shut though. Guessing the police took 10min to turn up from the barman's mayday call that they have let these mugs walk into a trap? Didn't see any arrests.
