Spoke really eloqueently at last nights meeting, about the part time full time hybred issue. Knowledgeable and informative. This young man is an absolute credit to the club and will be crucial going forward. I would love to see him dovetail with the likes of Steve Davis or Carl MaCauley. The future of the club is safe in this mans hands.

Yes, as I said on the other thread, the best speaker of the night and he wasn't on the table! I don't mean that disrespectfully to the board as most of them also talked well.
I can't help but feel that it's the club rather than the fans who are bandying about terms like 'full-time' and 'part-time', when as Calum says, the definition of these terms varies from one club and player to the next and is largely a semantic issue. Most fans seem to accept that you'll have players on a range of contracts and are not demanding one or the other.
'Semi-professional' seems a better phrase to use for me. That acknowledges the mixed player situation we're sure to have next season.

Callum is a tremendous asset to our club. I hope he can persuade James Jones, Tom Crawford and Nathan Brown that their development will be better here next season than playing in some higher league development squad.

Don't understand why Callum is not part of the FWG (although he is juggling numerous jobs already), it desperately needs people that know football which is lacking badly.
When he speaks people listen, always speaks well and very knowledgeable, a real asset to the club.

Calum is one of our greatest assets and is the one bright spark out of a very dark season.
Sorry to be pedantic here but Calum spells his name with one L so I think we owe it to him to get his name right now as he takes on greater importance in our club. I am really looking forward to watching his young lads on Saturday.
COYB!

Taken from the Chester Chronicle from an article by John McDougall but pretty much as spoken last night, a real rallying call from one of our own to anyone that has blue in their veins and loves this club
As much as we’re having to give some debuts, it’s not a case of throwing kids in for sake of throwing kids in. “What goes hand in hand with that, this group of players haven’t got us relegated. The responsibility does not rest solely at their door. “Please come and get behind them. THESE BOYS THAT ARE MAKING THEIR DEBUT SHOULDN’T MAKE THEIR DEBUT IN FRONT OF 700 PEOPLE !!!!!! The boys that go out on the pitch and represent our first-team on Saturday, they deserve some recognition for either their contribution to the football club towards the end of the season, or because it’s one of their very first appearances. “Certainly for the homegrown boys, I’m big on the connection that they have with the supporters and how important it is that there’s someone there to see that. “I’m really proud of what the youngsters do here, but again, we’ll see what it brings on Saturday, but I’ve got loads of faith in them. “I would not be fielding players on Saturday that I don’t believe could contribute to a performance that ultimately gets us the result we want.
Calum McIntyre 2018
THIS CLUB CAN WORK IF WE ALL GET BEHIND IT.

Would love it if he gets a win on Saturday he's a cracking lad very passionate about the club has been from the start Apart from what he has done for the Youth, Calum speaks so well, he does it without any notes and it all comes from the heart, If only Calum had the time and we had the money to be able to send him out and about as our Chester FC ambassador he would work wonders for the Club. It is so important to have people that talk knowledgeably and passionately to build and enhance the Club's reputation in the community. Some are not cut out for it and can damage it faster than it can be built up as we recently learnt to our cost.

That he isn't not only on the FWG but leading it is a travesty.

Calum loved it when someone said he looked like Sam Smith. 😁 Changing room banter, where team spirit begins.
