I was just curious. IF we finish bottom of the league and Barrow end up getting relegated, there will be 3 northern clubs relegated. So someone would have to go into National league south. Us being the most southern of the 3 it could be us. Or if we are bottom they may pick us because we are below the other 2?. In this instance it might be a good idea that we put a weakened team out on Saturday just to be on the safe side!!!

It's not done by position it's a geographical decision mate

To answer your question ...... we would not go South. The leagues will be adjusted geographically.

The makeup of the NLN and NLS are decided at the league AGM based on the location of all 44 clubs across the two leagues.

I've either got Deja vu, or this has been explained about 200 times on 10 threads?

If we did end up in the Conf South then that would surely finish us off!

I have a feeling that our game will be on BT Sport this Saturday. Barrow and Woking are both still in it as Solihull won tonight. However, Barrow look the most likely to stay up so BT will probably screen that. It would also give us a nice little bit of money, although I will be there regardless.

Far more likely to be Woking v Dover? Both need to win for different reasons - Dover to potentially get into the playoffs and Woking to stand a chance of avoiding relegation.

I’d also expect BT to show Woking vs Dover on Saturday, but given that we are likely to field another young and inexperienced team against Barrow then Woking are down.

I'm hoping Barrow stay up and Woking go down as this will increase the chances of Hereford being in National North?

Not out of the question that our game could be shown, but I suspect it could be considered by those deciding these things to be a bit of a formality that Barrow will get the win they need against us. As said, Dover v Woking is probably favourite as both sides have something riding on it - but there's also a bit of a danger that with matters out of their hands that it could become a non-event as a contest if results go against both. Wrexham v Fylde might well have been picked had it been a straight head-to-head fight for the play-offs but unlikely now that Wrexham's hopes look over.

Similarly assume it'll be Woking v Dover for the same reasons as above although Sutton v Aldershot will end up being a straight fight for third place, which is the perceived "advantage" in the reformed playoffs this season so that could also get the nod.

Woking, who have beaten us 9 times on the trot are now depending on us winning at Barrow to give them a chance of staying up. Whilst I would like to see us beating an equally dislikeable club, who would put money on that.

Woking vs Dover is the live game That's not surprising as it affects both ends of the table

Woking vs Dover is the live game That's not surprising as it affects both ends of the table In theory it should be a cracker.
Woking must win to have any chance of survival. Dover must win to have any chance of making the play-offs.
But will probably end up as a nervous, scrappy, nil-nil with both sides losing out.
