Shows how poor he really is as a manager. Stalybridge Celtic who he joined in 2016, when they were in the National League North., have tonight been relegated to the Evostik North. The chairman of Stalybridge Rob Gorski has refused to offer Burr a new contract. No wonder.

It does make you wonder how everything went so right under him in the 14/15 season? Especially considering we only stayed up through a reprieve that summer. He seemed to play the loan system well and (whether it was him or a scout) got lucky with Heneghan, and we did play some decent football.

As for not being offered a contract, apparently he has a new job lined up.

only one gets relegated as step 3 being reorganised, 4 divisions promoting into the conference north and south instead of 3, a new 'north midlands' division being created to cut down on traveling, the two southern most divisions promoting into the south etc. This has a minor impact for us as the season after 4 teams will be relegated from conf north instead of 3!

Will probably be more of a south midlands division to be honest as so many southern clubs seem to be upwardly mobile, so we'll still always get stuck with the likes of Leamington and Nuneaton!

Yeah they were pretty much relegated when he took them over in the National League North anyway.
And yeah, I've heard similar that he's off to become Askeys right hand man as he's said he's got a job lined up in the League

What a record Burr has over the past few years:
A relegation with Chester (avoided because of Hereford's demise) A relegation with Southport A relegation with Stalybridge Another lucky avoidance of relegation with Stalybridge

I find it hard how people can be so critical of a manager who achieved our highest ever finish, our best FA Cup run and our stand-out moments being beating Southend and heneghan's last minute winner. Yes, the season we got rid was a poor season, but it's not like anyone has done better since is it?

Nah there are a few (deluded, unfortunately) who think that as he has applied for it the last twice he will do the same again (and drop a division in doing so!) I wish! More of us are more concerned that it will be Harrison (apparently he was off to Bangor but that won't happen now they've lost their appeal). So please, PLEASE appoint him.
