Surely that's the end of Haye or are we going to see a rematch? Don't get me wrong, his injury pretty much handed the fight to Bellew so I'm half expecting to hear of a rematch to settle it properly but the fight was promoted based on how this was supposed to be a genuine grudge and it was clear afterwards that (rightly so) they have a lot of respect for each other so they can't play the hatred card again as it won't be authentic.

Didn't he want a match at Goodison?

First time a scouser has fought a one-legged fellah since Paul McCartney was married to Heather Mills.

This sounded like Bellew wanted to fight Haye to set himself up for life. Was it all bullshit in the build up? Most likely, just like McGreggor does. Will the public want to pay to see a rematch at Goodison, most likely not.
As for the fight itself, I thought if Haye hadn't got injured Bomber would of been in a world of hurt. He couldn't finish off a man with one leg. What chance does he have if Haye was fully fit?
