After today's results 4th bottom has 38 points will our target of 50 points be enough

Usually 45/46 points is 20th/21st, so 38 is incredibly high. I don't think there's any need to worry though.

Hopefully, but in the season we got reprieved we had 51 and it still wasn't enough, but we will be safe this season.

It will be very close if we only get 50 points. I will be a lot happier when we get a couple more wins.

Although 38 points sounds a lot for 21st place at this stage of the season, I actually think it may be a fairly low points total that secures 20th place.
I think the current bottom three will go down, or at least won't make 50 points. They'd have to win about half their remaining games to do so.
There will be at least one team from about 10th downwards that ends the awfully and gets sucked right into it. We have to make sure that team isn't us.
I reckon 49 or 50 will actually be enough, but anyway, were more than capable of getting the couple of wins we need to stop worrying about this.

Hopefully we can attain as many as possible, and it would be nice to finish above the Dingles.
