Signs a permanent contract with Barrow. Good luck to him but I thought he was better than that.

Very strange. He penned a new contract with Liverpool barely a month ago. Obviously at the age now where he needs proper first team football and the Scousers have just broke the bank to sign a bloke they put 7 (SEVEN) past a few months ago.

Thought he was a bit hit and miss myself. Some good games but also let some poor goals past him.

I'd had him back tbh, a player who really cared about the club despite being on loan, thought he was a decent keeper for us too.

Thought he was a bit hit and miss myself. Some good games but also let some poor goals past him. In fairness all keepers at this level are similar, otherwise they wouldn't be here. I thought he was ok, but last season I much preferred Alex Lynch who at times was one of the few players on the pitch in a Chester shirt that seemed to give a stuff. Never quite worked out why he was dropped, yes he was inconsistent but no less so than what came after.

Why are all your posts straight out of the gutter and please explain, if you can, the logic behind you calling him ' a little yellow belly traitor'

Didn't think he was quite up to it last season. Came across as a great lad to have around the place and made some incredible saves, but too many basic errors.

Not the worst keeper I have seen at the Deva but he wasn't in the league of Sam Hornby who looked a very strong keeper and will be a League One keeper in due course.
Firth seemed to enjoy his time at Chester and although he made a few errors he also made a couple of great saves including a last minute stop against Bromley which was up there with Brown's goal that night. Good luck to him as I think he will be in for another busy season as Barrow look relegation candidates.
