Register as a member and use the report function on posts that you feel are abusive. This site moderates itself

Just a quick report notifys us if something is deemed offensive and the right action will take place 👍🏼

Just a quick report notifys us if something is deemed offensive and the right action will take place 👍🏼 Totally agree with the OP. It is not just a case of a post being offensive or abusive. It is just so bloody annoying that morons from over the border have licence to come on here and post whatever they like, solely with the intention of winding us up. The post deleted last night was a typical example.

I have no problem with signing up to post because at the end of the day you have to. I also have no problems with opposition fans writing their point of view on here, but I don't like the fact that WUM's (E.G. last night) can write on here and talk rubbish like primary school children.

The weird thing is that Wrexham have been on a great run recently but their fans have been relatively quiet on here. Then they get a crap home defeat and they're on here in numbers giving it large about their history and general massiveness.
Strange lot!

Having an inclusive forum was one of the reasons why this one was set up and why the old one has about 4 regular posters. Judging from a topic on old dc it appear's that most are in denial about the old one being finished.
I think that the success and popularity of this forum over the past few weeks shows that oldco dc got it completely wrong. And that everyone's favourite mod - who thought himself untouchable - now has no way to get his kicks.

The point I was making is that non registration allows any cretin to post whatever he likes on here until it is deleted, as was the case last night, same with the Southport fan.

Too easy for other fans to post on here, dont mind if they take the effort to register but as it is now we get random muppets from our opponents posting crap after every game.

I think allowing people to post without registering has been a commendable experiment, but there's a reason most forums don't allow it and we're starting to see it.
Registration takes two minutes, and I'm not sure we should make special allowances for people who can't be bothered doing it. Seems a bit like a restaurant being forced to listen to diners who not only want their food brought to them, but want it cut up and fed to them as well.

surely the post/topics over the last 48 hrs are enough for big si to realise we need to regulate this board properly.

Bored of this site now. Every thread hijacked by goats or plastic scousers and then turn into playground shit.
Needs a registered user only policy and some moderation.

Does nobody see the irony in a Guest posting demanding that we only allow registered users to post?
As the admins have said previously. If you find any content offensive then use the 'Report' button and it'll be removed accordingly.
Ignore and Report is the best way.
Don't go back into a closed shop. Old DC shut their doors to guests way back when and that was the beginning of the end for it.
I've not been around on here the last week, so the above mentioned content has probably already been removed - doesn't that prove that the current system works?

Leave it the way it is. It's good that people are able to reply spontaneously without the hassle of registering.
Including other teams' fans, who will change by the week as the season moves on. Given their fascination with Chester, Wrexham fans will be a constant presence, but most on here are decent enough. The more delusional ones give themselves away and are fairly easy to disregard. They could register anyway. Red Passion seemed to have a fair proportion of Chester fans on it when I used to access it.

Just leave it as it is and use the report function. Again I've not seen any content on here that has been offensive so surely that proves the current system works?

Bored of this site now. Every thread hijacked by goats or plastic scousers and then turn into playground shit. Needs a registered user only policy and some moderation. Come on a few times last week just to find some silly threads started by WUM's as guests so decided to just log off again as there were clearly muppets on the loose. It can be cleaned up quite quickly but it's the fact it gets untidy in the first place which is annoying. It's not difficult to register to this forum, anybody can, quickly and easily so it wouldn't be a closed shop and it should cut down on some of the spontaneous postings from the WUM's.

I can totally understand both sides of the argument here. I got fed up on Saturday night of having to constantly log on and wade through the nonsense that people were posting after they'd had a few beers. Perhaps people just got bored as we didn't have a game, but it was just petty bickering and the usual club killers rubbish. The easiest thing is just to ignore it and report it - The Goats rattle on about club killing and they know they get a reaction.
We get a lot of decent guests on here and I like that we get opposition fans who contribute on the match day threads on their outlook of the game etc, however the amount of Goat and Tranmere WUMS are steadily increasing which may end up forcing us down the route of registration.
I'm going to stick to my initial outlook on this.......the guest access is piloted until the end of the season and then I'll set a vote up (for registered users only!) to decide which way you want to go. Personally I'd like to see Guests stay as I'm happy enough to ignore the wums and delete (we have 2 other mods who are monitoring things too) reported posts where appropriate, but this board is for everyone and I'll respect the way the vote goes. This way it also gives those who do view and contribute as guests time to get a feel for the board and decide if its worth them registering.
