Team sheet was tweeted by a few journalists and chesterfc themselves. Yes a photo of the physical team sheet is usually tweeted out before games and this was the case again yesterday. I had to keep referring to it myself throughout the game! Can it be added to the new app?

So good in fact that you have told us twice Would imagine so with him not making the squad yesterday which is a real shame. Think we need to play with wingers in his absence

I thought they had a player who looked a spitting image of Ben Stokes. Missed Evil Edna though... Yes saw the Ben Stokes lookalike too. It wasn’t so much looked like, it was more the shuffling around when he didn’t have the ball Slightly before my time I’m afraid, but I imagine we had he players to do so as we spent a lot on some of the best players in the league at the time? The last few seasons we’ve seen Bur, JM and MB try and fail with 5 at the back and it’s very frustrating to watch. I’m sure our current managers won’t persist with it if it’s failing as previous managers have, though

Cheers for the highlights Rio. That Shenton save in the 2nf half really was something, and just a cross-bar away from a winner

A draw was probably a fair result - we didn't do quite enough for long enough to get the win but there were plenty of positives in the performance. Once this team gels and gets genuinely match-sharp, there will be goals and wins will flow. Spennymoor were a half decent outfit and show that there will be few, if any, pushovers this season. We'll have to earn every point, and that mentality, instilled by the Dynamic Duo, was evident yesterday. That said, you can see the quality in the squad and I'm pretty confident that this will be an enjoyable season especially after the utter dross of the last couple of years. Roll on Curzon Ashton on Monday - hope we take a sizeable following, we usually do.

There were positives and negatives. I was a bit dissapointed if I'm being honest but at the same time I'm realistic enough to know this is a new team who are still getting to know each other and gel. We were also missing some key players which didn't help. The goalkeeper redeemed himself after last week's game. Man of the match for me. And Dudley looks a very good player. Give him the ball in the box and he will score goals. We didn't do that anywhere near enough though. Spennymoor looked a good side and they looked two weeks ahead of us regards preparation. Overall we did well to get a point and hopefully this will prove to be a good result over the course of the season.
