It feels like a long time since we won a home match so I checked.
By the time we play Eastleigh on Saturday it will be 3 months and 1 day since we beat Aldershot 2-0, our last home win.
I'm sure we've gone longer winless at home than that, but surely not as the newco. We desperately need to win this one.

I'm pretty sure we didn't win at home between September and January in the 2013-14 season, a spell which certainly contained more matches than the current sequence. Our home form was a major reason why we finished in the bottom four that season.

Are the club doing anything to promote this game? Or is it up to the fans to promote it??

I think if Shaw and Vassell are fit and we play 442 with Hughes and Astles at the centre of defence we'll be ok.
If Hudson plays we'll struggle.

What happened to all the furore early in the season about promoting games? We've had a couple of schools games, the first of which was pretty poorly attended, and that's been it. There was talk of a fans zone and themed events. It's come to nothing. The club seem happy to accept crowds of 1,700. It's safe to say that nothing that has been trialled this year has made a difference to attendances. I hope a thorough evaluation and action plan is in place as it won't be long until crowds regularly dip below 1,500. The club needs to accept that people won't fork out £18 every two weeks to watch Wade Joyce and Kane Richards pretend to be footballers. Premier League clubs on our doorstep have some hugely attractive offers to get families through their gates. How do we try and turn some of those heads and make ourselves seem more attractive? That's what some people, who are paid a lot of money, need to resolve.

What is it with the constant slagging off of Blaine Hudson ? Yes Sam Hughes is a better player but has had to play out of position due to his versatility !
Hudson is not brilliant but always gives his best and has had some decent games for us, every goal we concede seems to be blamed on him ? He is a decent squad man in my opinion - who do people expect us to have at the back with a small budget......John Terry !

Like most Chester Fans I have absolutely no idea. And the same is also applicable of one Mr T Allen. I wonder if anyone can shed any light on the interview process for the CEO position, as Stockport County fans don't seem to have many good words to say about our Mr McGuire. I'm really looking forward to seeing the fruition of all these fantastic ideas which are apparently in the pipeline, but Mark should be reminded we only have 6 home games to go this season !

He's been talking the talk in the papers ever since he got the job, but where is the substantial evidence. His job is to bring money into the club and we seem to have less than ever, judging by recent figures. Other than the odd schools day, which seems to have been organised by Jim Green, where is the evidence of him actually delivering on his words? I went to Everton yesterday and they have been selling Season Tickets, with a variety of special offers, since January. Mr McGuire was very critical about season ticket sales pitches when he took over, yet we are half way through March and still not a peep. I realise Premier League clubs have a mountain of TV cash which supports them, but we have to find a way of getting crowds in. When we were in the Evostik we could draw crowds of nearly 3,000 for games against Mickleover Sports, so why can't we get back to that?

The day after our reprieve from going down and Durkin increased the prices was the last time I've set foot in the place after going home and away after reformation. I'm sure plenty will say we had to do it to compete but we've pissed so much up the wall as a club on various things that it became like flogging a dead horse with no new ideas from the board to increase revenue. Just take it from the fans was the mantra and seems to still be the case today!
The paid employees seem to be a waste of space as were their predecessors...

What would it take for you to go to games home and away again, or at least home matches?

Sam will be gone soon and we're wasting what last opportunity we've got to see us keep clean sheets, because when Hudson plays we don't.

Astles, Hunt, Vassell, umpteen goalkeeping mistakes and other players even Sam Hughes have made mistakes that have led to goals this season not just Hudson. This is the level were at , if players didn't make these mistakes they wouldn't be playing in this League. Everyone forgets this is NON league football !

Looks like a potentially poor gate on Saturday, especially with Macclesfield at home four days later. Sadly sub-2,000 for both I would guess. A busload from Eastleigh perhaps and a couple of hundred Macc fans for the midweek game.
