Do we have an estimated completion date for the required delivery and installation for the replacement CCTV, PA and Control Room systems prior to the signing off by the SAG?
Have the SAG indicated what sort of turn around time they have from installation of the work until issue of the new Safety Certificate?
Do the club foresee any other issues bar the water damage, control room, CCTV and PA system problems that would prevent any further games being postponed or problems that may cause Safety Certificate being issued?
Do we have any resilience in place for any future problems, e.g. Groundsharing in the short term. Is this something the league could enforce upon us to complete these outstanding fixtures asap?
Many thanks

Why don't you ask the club those questions instead of posting on an unofficial message board???

Why don't you ask the club those questions instead of posting on an unofficial message board??? Al Koresh has raised valid questions what's wrong with airing them on here

Why don't you ask the club those questions instead of posting on an unofficial message board??? I thought everyone agreed that last year had insufficient openness and that transparency and fuller communication is the way forward. I just don’t understand the logic of suggesting closet communication.

Do we have an estimated completion date for the required delivery and installation for the replacement CCTV, PA and Control Room systems prior to the signing off by the SAG? As yet no, as we have to wait for clearance from insurers to be able to proceed with remedial work based on the quotes they will receive from the companies quoting for that work. Once we know this has been authorised and work proceeds will we then be able to look at a completion and testing date. We would be expecting this imminently. Have the SAG indicated what sort of turn around time they have from installation of the work until issue of the new Safety Certificate? Once we know the date for testing the equipment once repaired or replaced then we would let the SAG know and hopefully once all components working correctly, it will be a case of the safety certificate being reintroduced. Do the club foresee any other issues bar the water damage, control room, CCTV and PA system problems that would prevent any further games being postponed or problems that may cause Safety Certificate being issued? No. But we need 100% confirmation that the electrics at the ground are working and posing no safety risk to anyone. Do we have any resilience in place for any future problems, e.g. Groundsharing in the short term. Is this something the league could enforce upon us to complete these outstanding fixtures asap? We would hope not to have to look at a groundshare but we will certainly need to look at an alternative venue should any further games be in question. At this point we are looking at the Bradford game as being on. Again though, this entirely depends on remedial work being completed and safety certificate being restored. Worth noting that we have been in full contact with the League at all times and they fully appreciate our situation. Many thanks No problem. Please to all reading this bear in mind that were all feeling the same as yourselves, in being frustrated in the postponements and just want to enjoy home matches again!! Jeff

Asking non-presumptive questions about a situation on a public forum, and having them answered by a club official like Jeff, is a good thing I think. It’s something that was amiss while Jeff was off the board and saves the same questions being asked and answered multiple times.
What I don’t like is the “heard a rumour X isn’t get paid” or “Y is getting paid four times as much as Z” and suchlike that you see on here from time to time. Rumours are rumours, and if you post them publicly, you’re spreading them. If they trouble you, they are the sort of thing you should put to the club in private and give them a chance to answer before it becomes an ‘internet thing’. If they don’t answer or you’re not satisfied with the answer, only then should you consider airing it in public.

Jeff Jeff is the single best thing at this football club by some considerable margin, and that’s no disrespect to anyone else. His honest, clear and concise answers on here give that communication link to the fans that was missing for a few years, and I for one want to thank him for that.

On a serious note though, I'll always try and communicate as best as I can on behalf of the board. But, believe me, the efforts of several board members should not go unnoticed in the last few weeks especially. Jeff
