Just wondering given our current situation if we have such a plan in place?
Given we have now postponed four home games it would suggest that this may not exist or if it does it was not robust enough.
Maybe a Board Member or Richard could update us on this.

Just wondering given our current situation if we have such a plan in place? Given we have now postponed four home games it would suggest that this may not exist or if it does it was not robust enough. Maybe a Board Member or Richard could update us on this. Fair question. Risk and Contingency Planning was an accepted recommendation from the season 17/18 review. From July this was an agenda item at both operations and CFU board meetings. The Governance Work Group have supplied a risk register with suggested topics and actions. In fairness to the board, they have all been working since then to populate and agree this document and I would suggest that had the water ingress happened next month, the plan would have been in place. So in summary, until recently there has not been any formal planning for this type of event. That said, the work that has taken place to rectify this awful situation has been exceptional in my opinion. David Harrington Wright has a business to run but I shudder to think how that is surviving, given the amount of time he is spending dealing with contractors, insurance companies, football authorities and answering calls to the club when the IT and phone systems were down. The same can be said of Mike Day and both Andy Morris and Calvin Hughes. Spare also a thought for Marion Needham who has been battling with up and down IT systems as she attempts to meet deadlines for the AGM. Of course, everyone will be looking at this and there will be questions asked about how we could have improved the reactions to this event. Mark Jones will lead the review with the Governance Work Group and recommendations will be applied to the contingency plan for any further events of this kind ( God forbid )

Thanks Richard.
Hopefully this incident as bad as it has been hilights the need for this type of contingency action plan to be in place and robust enough to tackle issues that could possibly arise.
I have seen quoted on here that the reason for the ingress of water was caused by uncleaned/blocked gutters. If true have we taken the necessary steps to check the rest of the stadium and is there an ongoing maintenance plan in place which i expect could be funded from Stuart Murphy's generous donation seeing that the stadium is very much infrastructure.

The short answer is yes in terms of maintenance and prevention, although the details are being discussed with the insurers

I had a really awful thought when all this kicked off that the insurers were going to say due to lack of maintenance they won't cover the damage!
