Billaricy and now FCUM. Southport next? FCUM haven't sacked their manager. He wants to resume the playing part of the player-manager role and has stood down.

Sometimes in life our longer term plans are changed when a sudden unexpected opportunity arises, completely out of the blue. Might the lure of a vacancy at FCUM prove of interest to two lads from Manchester?

Scunthorpe sacked Nicky Daws. And Gary Bowyer resigned at Blackpool after one match this season.

FCUM haven't sacked their manager. He wants to resume the playing part of the player-manager role and has stood down. Ok so he is no longer going to be the manager correct ? Correct. He has stood down from the manager part of his player-manager role. You entitled the thread "Sacked Managers" which is wrong in this case.

Gary Owers has been sacked from Torquay. I really feel for that club as they always seem to be covered in turmoil, and I wish them all the best.

It’s always a nice trip a visit to Plainmoor. They have not started particularly well in a league were like ourselves they should really be more than competitive. I don’t think it’s marvellous in terms of their off the field position? Aside from the other Devon clubs they are miles away which historically has always made it difficult for them to attract players down there. Like you say good look to them and may their fortunes change soon.

Absolutely disgraceful. I hope he gets another appointment soon and puts one over Hereford, or more precisely, the Board at Hereford!
