As you may or may not know, we, the enlightened mob from down the road have a mini chess league on Red Passion. We have been wondering if their is a sprinkling of Chess players amongst the Deva Chat posters here to arrange a team match? id imagine a team to consist of maybe five players or so but as yet no hard & fast numbers. Basically, just a bit of fun with bragging rights thrown in. Games would take place at chess.com (free site), but need to see if there is any interest on your side first.

Do you also have to register on "Red Passion"? If you do I wont bother.
I would be up for it.
If by some fluke you win then you could have a trophy made and stick it in the Cae Ras' trophy cabinet. After all there is enough room in there for it. It will look good alongside the pennant and bowling ball I'm sure.

No need to register in RP, but you’ll need to join Chess.com which is free. none of us are grandmasters. Play for fun.

And if you fluke a draw you can celebrate it for 20+ years. Only if we had the Queen and one of the Bishops removed early doors.

And if you fluke a draw you can celebrate it for 20+ years. It's called "stalemate". Something that you lot have met in your quest to win a league title for donkey's years and to also get out of non-league.

Please tell me that the standard is better than "Cornerflag", "MassiveFloodlights", "Fugazi" and "Goats". I think that lot would struggle to grasp the concept of a game of Snap.

Well we have a league with ten players in it & none of those fine gentlemen are in it. On any given day we can all pretty much beat each other..

In fairness, you managed to get out of the National Premier twice since your current version reentered it from the depths. Ah sorry. You only did get relegated once due to Hereford. I mean finish twice in the relegation zone... But funny how you can make your smart-ass comment to mabinigion when he came in a very "just for fun" attitude, but are unable to take it back without making personal comments.
