Straight to the point with this. Me and my mates are season ticket holders in G block main stand. Every home game we have a little game with score, attendance and away fans. Last week against united we were all in same ballpark of 2000 . Sadly we try to count the away fans. Against united between the 4 of us we were @ 12 out. Last night we ranged between 123-138 between the 4 of us. Haven't heard what the away fans number was last night. Basically if it wasn't in that number there's a point about the other statements on other posts. If it was there's no need to say the clubs on the fiddle.

Pretty close, I believe 143 in the away end last night. Is there a reason we don't announce these Jeff? From a personal point of view it would be handy. Realise you have far more pressing matters though!

Pretty close, I believe 143 in the away end last night. Well being so close again puts the "is there a fiddle going on"conspiracy to bed.

Sure someone will tell me there are good reasons but scheduling a home game which clashes with Liverpool on TV in the Champions League doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

Same could be said if it was the Wednesday night when Man United are playing. Can’t arrange games around teams playing in a champions league fixture. Doesn’t work like that.

It's a very well known fact that chester has always been Liverpool close followed by everton. I thought everybody new that one

Yes, that's why I raised the issue. I suppose you could argue that Champions League in any form on TV will hit our attendance, but more so Liverpool than United.

I follow hundreds of Chester fans on twitter and there’s few Liverpool fans. Plenty of Chester supporting United fans talking about them, mind.

I haven’t lived in Chester for quite some time but thinking back to my year at school there were far, far more Liverpool & Utd fans than Everton, City or anyone else.
