Blimey. I wish him all the best.
I hope his story can inspire others who have been through problems.

Hard to read but good to see George is over the bad times and is concentrating on a bright future.
We as fans need to support him and every player who puts on our shirt and give us everything on the field.
Good luck George, I can't wait to see you play and well done for being open about the tough times in your life.

About as honest account of someone’s downward spiral in life as you could ever read, it must be hard for a lot of these good football kids today with all the trappings of the premier league and the minefield of life just waiting to swallow some of them up with far to much money and time on their hands. I really hope he is finally getting to grips with his demons he now appears to have a strong family unit and people around him that can focus his mind on what’s really important in life and it’s good to read from his own mouth that he is finally getting there. The injury is as frustrating for him as it is for all of us who want to see him play in the blue and white but I hope and know it won’t be rushed as he needs to be right and I’m sure all blues will be understanding and give the lad time and space to get it all right. He’s at a community club and we all wish him well and hope he can re launch his career here like he appears to have relaunched himself. Good luck George.

Two words for young Mr Green; Jonathan Walters. He dropped down the divisions and came here looking like his chance of being a Premier League star had gone. However, he supplemented his natural footballing footballing ability with hard work and endeavour and got his move to Ipswich and never looked back. I’m sure George can do the same.
