At least we will be able to react to our FA Cup defeat a bit sooner.

Bit insulting that we enter in a Preliminary Round!

They'll be no pushover though we would need a fairly strong side out to beat them but we don't want to risk anyone with further injuries or unnecessary red cards so maybe play mainly youngsters and lets not worry too much about this secondary competition the league is far more important

Bit insulting that we enter in a Preliminary Round! If I remember rightly it’s completely random who plays in the preliminary round and who gets a bye in this competition.

If Witton draw their FA cup game on the 20th it will be rearranged due to a replay

Bit insulting that we enter in a Preliminary Round! I think it's all down to the luck of the draw.

If a player is sent off in a Cheshire Cup game, I wonder whether it means he misses the next league game, or the next round of the Cheshire Cup?

I must be thick. I read that as because it's Steps 2-4 and red cards are not competition specific bans can be served in any first team game. Are they saying that the Cheshire Cup is not a first team game? Very confusing!

Apparently not "County Senior cups this season are now classed as non-first team for teams at Steps 2-4 and therefore the County process them, and they cannot be used to complete a first team suspension."

We should just enter as the academy then next year
