I assume the reason for this question is that it did say on the bbc sport web site that the attendance was 988, I have already asked this question myself as I thought it must have been a miss print

Another dissapointing attendance and plenty of mumblings from people leaving the ground at the end. It's time for the manager and players to stand up and be counted. Home for at the moment is woeful.

It's hard sometimes, no matter how dedicated you are to keep turning up for performances like these recently. Before the world descends on my head you can substitute 'results' for 'performances' depending on how you view things at the moment. You can be the biggest pessimist or happy clapper but surely we all agree things have got to change, and soon.

There were 988 at the Dover V Bromley game so they must've misprinted it.

It's a disgrace how fickle fans are, and by that I'm not having a go at the faithful Chester supporters. Chester isn't a huge City but what do people want! Yes it's hard when the team are struggling (believe me, we (Wrexham) have watched some pretty dire football earlier this season) but it won't improve by restricting the manager even more by starving him of funds. These things are cyclical and I'm sure things will pick up.

Seems like we are missing 1000 fans, to what we had a few years back when anything under 2k was unheard of.
