Solihull is probably the worst home draw we could have had. However, there are two possible up sides. Firstly, a lot of teams around the top of the National League rest a number of players in the Trophy. Secondly, and probably more interesting, is to see how this team looks against a top National League side. It's 50/50 whether we get to find out though. Didn't we play AFC Fylde's shadow squad last season? You maybe correct there. Certainly wasn't their strongest side. FA Trophy is a bit like the League Cup in that top teams don't really bother until they get to the Quarter or Semi final stage. Money isn't great. It's basically £6k for the next 3 or 4 rounds. You could lose that in moving games to midweek. The lure of Wembley is the incentive.

6k is not to be sniffed at. The raffle will probably make less than the players can earn the club in 90 minutes.
